Plus the characters are different in the series Conrad admitted to Cleveland that he liked Belly this summer, after her "glow up", while Jere has been waiting for her to see him as more than a best friend which makes Jellyfisher so much better.. Also both "sides" of the fandom would be happy their couple ends together either in the books or the show!
