I have lived or visited over 70 countries. If asked the one city I most treasure, I have to say Rome. The traveler gets so. Much from one location- Ancient Rome well displayed throughout the city; Renaissance Rome, Michaelangelo, Bernini to name just a few; the intriguing Etruscans, the site of the rise of Christendom; Mussolini and his attraction to Fascism, world class fashions, food, accommodations. Go to Rome!

Love your views of the Tivoli Gardens. We have visited a couple of times. Tivoli is a really enjoyable side trip from Rome. The nearby Villa Adriano is also worth a look. Thanks for the walk.

I was here 1986 🥰🥰🥰 water seems less now , are tourist allowed behind the oval ⛲ still?❣️❣️❣️
Some fountains were turned off due to water problems this summer.
And yes tourists are allowed behind the oval fountain
