- It has come to notice that one youth from Dimapur has been scamming travel agency near Public Commerce College, Burma camp road. Speaking with the agency employees it has come to light that the youth has been scamming them since 31st October to 4th november. Furthermore, the owner of the agency has claimed that the scammer had scammed the agency an amount of around 12,110. Scamming or Stealing is a toxic trait for our personality/character, regardless of the law.
I believe that the words "mutual understanding" which you used is directly proportionate to our kind nature of human forgiveness.
It is basically the root for all the kind gestures; helping hand, respect, belongingness, trust, acceptance etc. in our society.
Nagaland is a peaceful state, as compared to other states, except for the negative corrupted politics.
But I assume that peace is what everyone wants in our life and our society.
I am just concerned about the words you used.
Shopkeeper/shopowner is nonlocal so might be they told to have mutual understanding and not to take up the case further... But the students identity should be made public. If he/she had the courage to scam others then he/she should be courage enough to show up in media for his/her wrong deeds...

Mutual understanding with fraudster? Then why you should report declared? In the future don't compromise with fraudster, but report it to your nearest police station, because it's very dangerous for others.
The fraudster certainly will try his stunt elsewhere. So called 'amicably settled' will lead to more complex fraudulent transaction in future making the victims none the wiser.

Such apps have been there for a long time and scammers have been using these apps and scamming shopkeepers. That's why I always insist all shopkeepers to check their account as soon as the payment is made n also try to make them aware that such apps are being used to scam shopkeepers..
