I do suggest learning the back story if you can because it explains quite a bit behind the relationships between a vast majority of the characters, and make songs, like Eccentric Party Night, hurt a whole lot more.
there are some tips that I think might be good in playing enstars rythm like in those flicks + slide one, you can just follow the slide that will touch the flick notes or hit it like a normal note with out sliding. You needn't to hold on the slide notes all the time, just make sure you hit every little circle inside the slides. You obviously can play every expert modes by thumbs (not the master ones, they are hell). That all I guess, enjoy the game as much as you can!

i installed this game yesterday but have no idea what I was doing lmao, and I basically already finished the first part of main storyline and also the missions. I'm already level 5 with a a bunch of 4 stars card but then in the middle of playing live, i was hooked by the undead song "melody in the dark". i looked up the members of the group and when i see rei, i said this is it, this is the one and i instantly made a new account to pull for him and start all over again. i didn't regret doing it tho HAHAHA
In the jp version of the game they have more songs. Which means undead has a lot of other PERFECT songs!! You can listen to them on youtube, but of course they will be added into the eng ver too!

@@roshosimp honestly it's not the hardest song out of all the expert modes. I've been playing since beta, and at the beginning one of the Akatsuki songs, the Lv29 expert one wasn't on it yet. So Genesis Lv28+ was the hardest difficulty at the time. Somehow, I was able to full combo it XD But I mostly chalk it up to my jp experience. It took me forever to full combo crazy roulette but I got there in the end.

Granted its been 3 years since i last played a rythem game, bbut its still frustrating when i remember being able to hard full combo all songs in i wanna say it was called shining live? which had a similar note system I think Dx (maybe with out the flicks and sliders but I know it had the taps and the holders i just cant remmeber if the holders move) Im just glad theres an option to play without bp because it means i can practice without feeling like im wasting resources. or having to wait 30 mins for a failed try also yes REI. @@roshosimp so far so good The most recent game Ive stuck with past the first couple of days(discounting I started playing 3 days late after release cause i forgot about it XD) that wasnt shining nikki. I think the last game I tried was twisted wonderland and While i still load that one up to get the daily login I uh.....havent actually done anything after the first 3 days woops.. A bit confused on the event thats happening right now but Im kinda just vibin and usin my regened BP while doing things on my computer and idling that one blue trickstar song about stars. Because i got that leader 5 star on my first 10 pull and that team became unstoppable woops. Will also use the whistles since i know those expire at the end of the event and might as well but Im probably not going for the card. Rei and Rinne are probably the ones Ill go hard on for events or if another cards idk, speaks to me or something. since you can only have one card of a person on your team gonna need diversity at some point probably. Is a bit upsetting I cant just get all the cards like I did in Shining Live ftp but oh well. Thats actually what burnt me out of that game so honestly probably for the best XD and someone told me they do come back at somepoint somehow i just forget what it was now.

Not but fr I feel ya on Rei I currently got almost all his cards on JP(Natsume is close second with Ritsu) Rei is so pretty its illegal ngl. I mainly produce Switch but also Rei,Kanata and Nazuna but I hope you will enjoy the hell scape that is enstars! Also for the stories the ES! timeline just gives more depth in my opinion but its fine to just stick to ES!!(because like I get it enstars! has like a timeline from 2015-2019 or something)

Ok, I think a lot of us are new to this game. I’ve heard a lot of crazy things already lore-wise with turf wars and even crazier stuff, it’s… A bit overwhelming. And apparently there’s a previous game that had a different storyline? Do I need to read that one to understand this one? Also, should you reread the previous events to understand anything? yes i just recently found out that ensemble stars ! and !! are two different timelines 😭 i was soooo confused while reading the story bc i don't understand the setting but i finally understood it upon watching the anime (though the animation is not that good still worth watching tho if you want some enstars lore) if i'm not wrong enstars ! focuses on trickstar and yumenosaki/eichi/five oddballs also eden while this rhythm game has new characters/units (alkaloid/crazy:b) which i'm not sure what is happening right now? i think there's a timeskip ^^ i hope this helps ;_____; enstars lore is very intriguing!!! ^^ and remember to enjoy the game as well!!

the crazy roulette is kinda fit for thumbs, me as a rythm thumbs player i alr perfect combo crazy roulette, you can turn off the MV in settings so you can play easier. for the slide and flick note you can search in youtube "crazy roulette expert" and see the one who have handcam on it, i want to explain how but it's pretty hard to be explained. all expert actually is thum friendly the easiest expert is the expert who have lvl 24-26, lvl 27 is pretty tricky, lvl 28-30 already the hardest, but there's some lvl 28 who is easy tho. +for now cuz the song is still a little, so don't really waste your dias just use your dias for your oshi.

:0 am jealous. I cant even play half the songs on hard. Granted its been 3 years since i last played a rythem game, bbut its still frustrating when i remember being able to hard full combo all songs in i wanna say it was called shining live? which had a similar note system I think Dx (maybe with out the flicks and sliders but I know it had the taps and the holders i just cant remmeber if the holders move) Im just glad theres an option to play without bp because it means i can practice without feeling like im wasting resources. or having to wait 30 mins for a failed try also yes REI. I went with him too without knowing anything about this game. Second Fav was The white haired Eden guy but then I met Rinne in the story and...sorry EDEN guy your now third favorite...Rei and Rinne have stolen the show...
I played Utapri before (but didn't last long ww) and it does have the same note system like Enstars!
Oh my gosh we're the same, Rei and Rinnie are my favs rn 😭 and also Nagisa and HiMERU 💜

@@roshosimp so far so good The most recent game Ive stuck with past the first couple of days(discounting I started playing 3 days late after release cause i forgot about it XD) that wasnt shining nikki. I think the last game I tried was twisted wonderland and While i still load that one up to get the daily login I uh.....havent actually done anything after the first 3 days woops.. A bit confused on the event thats happening right now but Im kinda just vibin and usin my regened BP while doing things on my computer and idling that one blue trickstar song about stars. Because i got that leader 5 star on my first 10 pull and that team became unstoppable woops. Will also use the whistles since i know those expire at the end of the event and might as well but Im probably not going for the card. Rei and Rinne are probably the ones Ill go hard on for events or if another cards idk, speaks to me or something. since you can only have one card of a person on your team gonna need diversity at some point probably. Is a bit upsetting I cant just get all the cards like I did in Shining Live ftp but oh well. Thats actually what burnt me out of that game so honestly probably for the best XD and someone told me they do come back at somepoint somehow i just forget what it was now.

Not but fr I feel ya on Rei I currently got almost all his cards on JP(Natsume is close second with Ritsu) Rei is so pretty its illegal ngl. I mainly produce Switch but also Rei,Kanata and Nazuna but I hope you will enjoy the hell scape that is enstars! Also for the stories the ES! timeline just gives more depth in my opinion but its fine to just stick to ES!!(because like I get it enstars! has like a timeline from 2015-2019 or something)

Ok, I think a lot of us are new to this game.
I’ve heard a lot of crazy things already lore-wise with turf wars and even crazier stuff, it’s… A bit overwhelming. And apparently there’s a previous game that had a different storyline? Do I need to read that one to understand this one? Also, should you reread the previous events to understand anything? I’m so very confused, as there seems to be SO MUCH to catch up on 😭
yes i just recently found out that ensemble stars ! and !! are two different timelines 😭 i was soooo confused while reading the story bc i don't understand the setting but i finally understood it upon watching the anime (though the animation is not that good still worth watching tho if you want some enstars lore)
if i'm not wrong enstars ! focuses on trickstar and yumenosaki/eichi/five oddballs also eden while this rhythm game has new characters/units (alkaloid/crazy:b) which i'm not sure what is happening right now? i think there's a timeskip ^^

But apparently you don’t have to read the ! stories to understand the !! lore which is quite reassuring. The idol stories are also quite helpful with understanding and remembering every character… And yes, there is a time skip, that’s why some characters have graduated already and have stopped participating in their groups activities or such, I believe 🤔

the crazy roulette is kinda fit for thumbs, me as a rythm thumbs player i alr perfect combo crazy roulette, you can turn off the MV in settings so you can play easier. for the slide and flick note you can search in youtube "crazy roulette expert" and see the one who have handcam on it, i want to explain how but it's pretty hard to be explained. all expert actually is thum friendly the easiest expert is the expert who have lvl 24-26, lvl 27 is pretty tricky, lvl 28-30 already the hardest, but there's some lvl 28 who is easy tho. +for now cuz the song is still a little, so don't really waste your dias just use your dias for your oshi.
i took your advice and i full combo-ed crazy roulette just today!! (and also the fine song- i cant remember the title) it took a while but i am so glad that i managed to do it!! having the mv turned off is such a huge help bc my phone always lags if its on ww
