I don't necessarily think it's fair to compare this song to more modern kpop songs because the style was so different 5 years ago in kpop and at the time, Big Bang was the trend setter. The things that followed and built on their style have improved upon the style and refined it but for the time, this was the cutting edge. Part of the reason khiphop and kpop are where they are is because of Big Bang and songs like this that took large leaps out of what was the norm for kpop back then. At the time, for kpop, this was sort of bizarre and rebellious but nowadays the style is so overdone and overplayed that no one blinks an eye.

Yes! 2nd generation vs 3rd and 4th. Check out Fxxk it! Another great Big Bang song. Tempo took a lot of vibes from that one. This is a large influence on "No Diggity' by Oneus. You guys are cramming and starting at the end of the book and going backwards. But you're getting there! Keep going!
Yup, they are the k-pop blueprint of the unexpected beat drops and beat switch-ups. They started that trend of making it feel like the listener had 2-3 songs in one track.
@@petitemerald they’re definitely heavily respected. I didn’t say it was only Bigbang, they are classified among the ogs of kpop not only 2nd gen as you claimed, you can do your research. :)

I had a feeling this might not suit y’all, as it’s dated. Like most have mentioned, they’ve been around for a long time and have been inspiration to many groups, active or not. When they came out, no one was really checking for them (I guess this is telling that I’ve been a fan since day 1) because that era was heavy on ballads and pop; Big Bang was heavy on the R&B and rap + B2K-esque appeal. Overall, they’ve been household names/influential from music to fashion in and out of Korea for many years. Perhaps y’all might enjoy FXXK IT per their last release.
Depends, i think their relatively recent songs that are more chill didn't age. Like Sober, Loser, Let's not fall in love, If you, Fxxk it... Bangbangbang always sounded a bit odd and intense. Even 5 years ago some complained it was "noise music".

They are one of the first boy groups to become really famous outside of Korea and the east. w/o them the KPOP landscape would look very different. Look up, GD and Taeyang's, Good Boy, Bigg Bang's Bae Bae, GD's B***shit or One of a kind and T.O.P.'s Doom Da Da. You'll see how much influence they have and also get some different vibes. Plus, the one with the red hair has written and produced many of their hits. Most groups have very little input with the songs. It's starting to change but for the most part--things are just chosen for them and they perform it Give'em another chance if for no other reason to see the group everybody wanted to copy and still do..
Bad Boy and Fxxk It for BigBang. Honestly, y’all probably wouldn’t vibe with a lot of the title tracks they released. The solo stuff would be more your speed. Especially Taeyang. You gotta do Doom Dada by TOP though, that’s a classic!
Y'all probably ain't feelin it cuz it's a bit dated... but it was pretty huge when it first came out... it made these guys rich, turned them into super stars all across Asia, lol...in fact, it was so influential in the Kpop industry, that basically everyone after them used this as a template or formula; a combination of EDM and Hip Hop was the foundation for many many groups that came after them. "Bigbang probably has a lot more since then" hahaha that made me so sad Everyone explained in the comments about bigbang and i think it's hard to recommend you some music bc i've been a fan for like 10 years and everything i like is so old now, so please keep it in mind when you guys react to them again
I dont think you should compare the songs from big bang or any other older kpop to more recent or younger groups bc nowadays kpop takes a lot more western influence then they used to 5-10 years ago. Older kpop groups were more experimental with song compared to now so I think most of big bangs iconic songs wouldn't be up ur alley. But 2 song I would suggest would be Loser and fxxk it! One person I'd love to see you react to is DEAN is a korean rnb artist who is one of the best in the Korean industry. 2 songs I would rec is instagram and put my hands on you ft. Anderson.Paak!!
I would suggest PLT - hocus pocus or igoholic for more k hip hop sounds. Also I would suggest the k-artists DEAN, crush or jay park for more k r&b! there's way more than just the kpop scene or "idol" music. Big Bang though is one of the most iconic groups in kpop, glad you checked them out! my favorite songs of big bang's is bad boy and sober. their most iconic song is fantastic baby. a lot of their songs though do sound like the early 2010's because they have not dropped music since 2015, which is why you got the vibe that bang bang bang felt a bit outdated, but it wasn't when it came out back then.
Big Bang is considered to be one of the og's and the kings of kpop, so its more that they pioneered international kpop and set the foundation for modern groups that a lot of fans listen to now~ its pretty impressive that their career started out 15 years ago, so they're at a different generation than the newer groups you guys started out with (which have often times been influenced by big bang which is p cool). fantastic baby is considered to be the song that launched kpop to the west like crazyyyyyyy
It's ok if you don't like bigbang. They havent had a release since flower road in 2017 but they were always ahead of their time and their music always tops the chart, not just as a group but even their solos. Their solo's might be more of your type
BigBang definitely paved the way for Kpop globally. They are the best! Their style is very different than your current kpop taste so you probably won't watch much of their music videos.
They basically said they didn't like Bang bang bang cause it was a club banger so calling Good Boy a club banger ain't gonna make them wanna watch it. Maybe they should check "Bad Boy" instead, it's different from Bang bang bang 👍
Bigbang do all music genres🔥 That's why everyone love Bigbang. More Bigbang dude. Their live performance is amazing. And you just react to King Of Kpop and Legend🔥🔥🔥
Bigbang has been in the industry since 2006. They are currently of an indefinite hiatus because they went to the military service and while they are already discharged, they are savoring the time before they come back to limelight
There are two types of kpopers, novice teenagers and those of us who have been discovering this musical universe for more than fifteen years. I would never recommend this BigBang song for a first listen, it has a lot of views because newbies discovered this group too late and this video went viral. It is not a song that identifies the style of your music, it was an experiment. Big Bang is basically a HipHop / R & B group. Of the last songs, before the military service break, the one that stands out and is true to the identity of the group is "FXXK IT" or the iconic "Bad Boy". You cannot rule out the duo or solo works of the members. For example... From rapper T.O.P. - "Doom Dada", "Turn It Up" From leader G-Dragon - "One Of a Kind", "Who You?" From Lead Vocalist Taeyang - "Eyes, Nose, Lips" G-Dragon & TOP - "Zutter" G-Dragon & Taeyang - "Good Boy" They are worth it!
I think you'd really like Fxxk It by Big Bang, it's my favorite of theirs and has been one of my favorites of kpop in general ever since discovering it back in 2016. Loser is another good song that has pretty sad lyrics and a sad story line for each of the members but its still a catchy, laid back track that I recommend.
These guys are legends. Chaotic legends, so they have a lot of fun when they come on stage. They don't have to prove anything anymore, but still deliver everytime.
You say this song is too much for you, but you were bouncing all the time haha this song is pure fun and energy, you can't evitate dancing or al least get excited. The live version Big Bang made on the Mama awards is lit! and they sing two more songs there: Loser, and Bae bae

Big bang is like the first kpop band I liked 12 years ago. They got me into the kpop thing. Their music style kinda changed with time. Their first hit songs are "lies", "Haru Haru" and "Heaven". Their later on Hit songs are "Fxxk It", " Sober" and " Loser". There is that one song by Gdragon and Taeyang two of Big bang members called "Good Boy" its so good. I hope you react to it in addition to "Fxxk It" and "Sober" 🙏
Yes, this was a bop 5 years ago. I loved it. But if you want to really appreciate Big Bang talent listen to their earlier music. Songs like HARU HARU, LIES or BlUE. Also they usually wrote the lyrics of their songs.
BIGBANG didn't really intend to make music to suit the western market taste. They make music according to what they want to make. To me, BANG BANG BANG is a party banger, a great song to play in every grand stadium. It such a lively song that it makes people hyped and happy. 💛 And about BIGBANG. They are legends in the KPOP industry. They have always been dubbed as KINGS of Kpop for a good reason. Young new Kpooppers likes to trash talk about them, but their influence isn't like the new fandom loves to reiterate all the time. Those views, awards or ranking isn't what makes BIGBANG KINGS. These guys' influence goes beyond that. Their history may not be as pristine or up to the standard of the conservative Korean culture, but without BIGBANG, the idol industry would have remained stagnant. If they never came into the picture, many talented artists and producers would not even consider becoming a part of the idol industry.
It’s a song that’s catchy and definitely a club hit but I agree with your comment about the production... it’s a song that gets in your head real quick though even if it’s not your style...
FYI Big Bang are known as king of kpop. Most of the kpop codes in term on songs, fashion etc comes from them. They’re an OG group, they tested a lot of things since their debut and everything they did was later applied with newer groups. Their discography is very wide and versatile like there’s litterally every sound in their work because they’re very experimenting. Most of the songs right now sounds like that because most of the groups and idols are inspired of them. Like they’re literally every idol idol’s. You should check their song « LOSER » or « BAE BAE » it might suit y’all taste better.
That's why I don't like to recommend this song to people who doesn't know them because it looks like they only do songs like this and they don't haha I'd say for you to listen to 'Fxxk it' or 'Bad Boy' or even 'Loser'. You can check their solo stuff too, 'TOP's Doom Dada' is a good one.
lol Big Bang are iconic! They are who got me into Kpop back in the day, along with CL. I like "Fantastic Baby". And yes, their songs are even played at sports events in the US. Definitely club music. They are older, too, so the styles are older. You have to realize they debuted some 15 years ago. They were trendsetters in their time, cutting edge second-generation stars. Nobody sounded like them. I don't think you gave them a fair shake, but that's okay. You're used to modern Kpop and it's much different from older Kpop. I still love their music and it puts me in a good mood. :)
THEYVE BEEN PART OF THE MUSIC INDUSTRY FOR ABOUT 15+ YEARS NOW ESPECIALLY THEIR LEADER G-DRAGON AND THEY ALL IN THEIR 30s BY THE WAY SINCE THEY WERE BORN PRETTY MUCH A YEAR APART (NOT RELATED AT ALL) ... @2:16 TAEYANG (30) @2:30 T.O.P - Oldest (32) @2:47 SEUNGRI - Youngest (30) @2:58 GDRAGON - Leader @5:28 DAESUNG @5:42 The woman with GD is world famous dance choreographer Parris Geobel who has actually choreographed allot of BigBang’s dances including this one.
Big Bang can be an acquired taste sometimes 😅Thank you for giving them a chance though! For me, Bang Bang Bang is number one but Last Dance is number two, even if it makes me cry.
Lol I think it would be so fun or y'all to see how far they'd come since debut to this (Bang Bang Bang) point. That being said I recommend "La La La" and "A Fool of Tears" (just for growth and nostalgia purposes)... but for the actual music/vibes they may be able to get into, "Bad Boy" may be that song.
Well listen Bad boy and Haru Haru maybe it's more like your style and the messages in both are so good i reccomend you to find a video with the lyrics. Btw if you can react to U-Know-Thank U the MV is so good!
You guys should know that this Bang Bang Bang became an anthem in the DMZ. South Korean soldiers played it loud so their North Korean counterpart will hear it. Maybe just to let them know that this is our song for you "Banga Banga Banga"
This song is the definition of K-Pop. Big Bang is OG K-Pop Kings. They has wide genre of music. But they definitely put a high bar for Korean music especially K-Pop. The live performance is in another level.
Yo I felt a similar way when I first heard this song - not really my style, BUT, I would suggest still putting it on your playlist, coz now I freakn love this and its remains in rotation to this day! Big Bang were so fashion-forward for their time man. Their style was unapologetically individual! Don’t let this dance music vibe fool you - they were urban af lol. Don’t @ me!!! #aesthetics #trailblazers #respeckontheirname PS: I’m really enjoying this channel!
back in 2015, nobody does this kind of music in kpop. The beat switch was not a thing. This was rebellious and non-conforming, almost polarizing- hate it or love it. nobody does it like Bigbang back then, and everyone do it like Bigbang now. Blueprint. Kings. Yardstick of kpop boygroups.
Bigbang are the kings of live performances. Please react to a live performance. I’d recommend their MAMA 2015 performance. Watching this you will understand why they are labelled as the kings of kpop. Other music videos I’d recommend would be Bae Bae, Fxxk it and a kpop classic Haru Haru!
Coup d’etat by g dragon (rapper with red hair) Doom dads by top (the one with the Palace gust hat) Some of the best raps by these rapper!! They’re insane
They have no song that is like a other. I recomend Fxxk it and Loser. Also watch a live stage of them shows you there power. Each of them is also a great solo performer and singer with his own distinctive style.

Crazy that this is nostalgic now. Legends.
BIGBANG didn't really intend to make music to suit the western market taste. They make music according to what they want to make. To me, BANG BANG BANG is a party banger, a great song to play in every grand stadium. It such a lively song that it makes people hyped and happy. 💛
And about BIGBANG.
WELL SAID.
It’s a song that’s catchy and definitely a club hit but I agree with your comment about the production... it’s a song that gets in your head real quick though even if it’s not your style...
Big Bang is the King of Kpop, the most famous Kpop group in Asia.
They are not just talented, they r legend in kpop history. Role model to all kpop idols nowaday
1-BIG BANG
2- SHINEE
3- 2NE1
4- 0
THE KINGS OF KPOPS
DOOM DA DA-T.O.P or ZUTTER-G.D&T.O.P (theyre members of Big Bang)
FYI Big Bang are known as king of kpop. Most of the kpop codes in term on songs, fashion etc comes from them. They’re an OG group, they tested a lot of things since their debut and everything they did was later applied with newer groups. Their discography is very wide and versatile like there’s litterally every sound in their work because they’re very experimenting. Most of the songs right now sounds like that because most of the groups and idols are inspired of them. Like they’re literally every idol idol’s. You should check their song « LOSER » or « BAE BAE » it might suit y’all taste better.
man it's time yall hop on some Jay Park and more BIGBANG
I would say one of my favorite Big Bang songs is Bad Boy, They just vibing in new york city in the music video
Bang Bang Bang is 🔥! Y’all tripping.
@2:16 TAEYANG (30)
@2:30 T.O.P - Oldest (32)
@2:47 SEUNGRI - Youngest (30)
@2:58 GDRAGON - Leader
@5:28 DAESUNG
@5:42 The woman with GD is world famous dance choreographer Parris Geobel who has actually choreographed allot of BigBang’s dances including this one.
react to G dragon coup d'etat (he is the leader of big bang) the song is underrated
Big Bang can be an acquired taste sometimes 😅Thank you for giving them a chance though!
For me, Bang Bang Bang is number one but Last Dance is number two, even if it makes me cry.
I don’t thing this song is the sound of Big Bang ...per say.. you may want to give them another chance.. they have a lot of great songs.
I just love bigbang since 2010.. the time I discovered them
BigBang are the Kings of KPop. It's really sad you couldn't appreciate this banger. It's 2022 and it still hits.
'We're gonna give them another chance." I laughed, seriously.
Ha! Yeah sure they will, hasn't been anything more since this
Fortunately for you guys, these Boys got a deep eclectic discography. You’ve only just begun.
Enjoy the journey.
Peace
Big Bangs range in music is unique you are seeing one part of them they have a huge range of songs.
Well listen Bad boy and Haru Haru maybe it's more like your style and the messages in both are so good i reccomend you to find a video with the lyrics.
Btw if you can react to U-Know-Thank U the MV is so good!
That right.... Big Bang is the king of Kpop and veterans on the game
I miss this group so much. They will forever be in my hearts.
I sugget to you
GD & CL - The Leaders
the Live version
GD is the leader of BIGBANG, he’s kinda like the producer for most of BIGBANG music
The Kings!! 👑👑👑👑👑😎♥️. More BigBang please.
Epik High Rosario please! Big Bang and Epik High are a start to another side of Kmusic.
Bigbang issa king of kpop 👑.. og legend then and forever
They had a very different energy for Korean artists during their era. G Dragon is one of the biggest and most respected artists in the industry. Big Bang birthed all of our faves. Don’t @ me!!!
#aesthetics #trailblazers #respeckontheirname
PS: I’m really enjoying this channel!
Ooooh heck no. I can listen to this all day. Big bang is freaking awesome!
back in 2015, nobody does this kind of music in kpop. The beat switch was not a thing. This was rebellious and non-conforming, almost polarizing- hate it or love it. nobody does it like Bigbang back then, and everyone do it like Bigbang now. Blueprint. Kings. Yardstick of kpop boygroups.
Bigbang are one of my fav groups...I recommend Bae Bae & haru haru
they are labelled as the kings of kpop
When they said they don’t like the King of KPop! T_T I think I’m done now. Gonna go cry myself to sleep.
And the girl on the leash was the choreographer of this song. Paris Global from New Zealand.
Well they're king 👑 so what to expect ...! Their songs always hit that bang bang bang!!
MORE BIGBANG PLSSSSSS!!!! THE KING OF KPOP AND THE REAL LEGEND!!!!
The KINGS and Living LEGENDS. Thanks for your reaction
Coup d’etat by g dragon (rapper with red hair)
Doom dads by top (the one with the Palace gust hat)
Some of the best raps by these rapper!! They’re insane
they are trend setter ... and king of K-POP ... this video is so so so so iconic ... !!
Let's not fall in love and Bad Boy - Bigbang
this what you call "switch up". in other videos, every brigde is switch up for you. the song has a structure.
They have no song that is like a other. I recomend Fxxk it and Loser. Also watch a live stage of them shows you there power. Each of them is also a great solo performer and singer with his own distinctive style.
I just commented about this in the last 2 vids I’m so happy!!!
Eyes nose lips by taeyang the music video is like that one deangelo mv
DARLING and WAKE ME UP too
Say what you will, but when Big Bang dropped a beat, that shit stayed dropped.
Top two songs for me that I think you’d like are Fxxk it and Loser. Thanks for giving them a listen!
It was a huge bangers on its era, what a good old times
PLT- Igoholic *stop working hard it's your birthday~* YOU GOTTA LISTEN TO IT, AND THAT'S ON PERIODT
