  • Here is my custom chrome vanvan I am happy to show. It is an FI model bought new in January 2015. The original color was white. Initially I bought for my wife to learn but I have become fond of and end up customizing it myself.
    - The tank, side covers, and the grab rail are chromed. Initially I wanted to chrome the fenders too but found out they are flexible Polypropylene plastic so it is not possible to chrome. Even with imitated chrome paint, it will not last long. So I decided to buy a new rear fender in black and exchanged the front fender with a friend's.
    - A new seat cover and also made 1cm taller.
    - vintage barrel grips and cork wood around speedometer.
    - single saddle bag support.
    - cnc aluminium mirrors
    - a carbon fiber front mudguard extender and a rear shock protection mudguard extender made from a rubber magnet sheet so it sticks to the frame.
    - clear vinyl sheets installed to protect the tank and the rear fender from seat scratching.
My next project is to install a vintage single seat, usb power, a windshield, and a tachometer (rev counter). I hope you like the video. It was a lot harder than I thought to chrome those parts. That involved draining the fuel twice to remove the tank and again to change the fuel filter because the rust inside tank caused by the Chrome process. I had to clean the tank with acid for 2 days to remove all the rust until it looked new. Still there was enough rust to clog the filter and caused engine bog down when riding with wide open throttle. A new filter solved perfectly and I also put a magnet under the tank to capture any new pieces of rust.

Looks much better standard. Chrome on motorbikes is like gold on women.
I want the 200 model for use in northern Thailand.

Hi, can I ask you where did you find/bought the support for the single saddlebag ?

There is a saddle bag support installed which helps push the bag away from the wheel and the chain. Mine was bought from here japan.webike.net/products/458304.html
      This model fits VanVan.
It is universal so one day you can remove and put on your next bike. The bag support can be fit without modifications. I think it is perhaps the only one that fits vanvan perfectly, although I recommend getting 2 of these brackets (m6 and m8 size)below so that the bag support is lowered to the perfect height, and give more clearance for the seat screw.

      japan.webike.net/products/21818772.html
The M6 and M8 plates I recommended to buy extra are for attaching the bag support. Without these plates, there is not good clearance for the standard seat to easily attach. Please see the image from this link. I posted all details here:

hi, the exhaust is a stock one. I had a local shop modify it to allow more flow (and more sound) from inside the muffler towards the exit.

+Po Zhang No sorry, in Spain. How much cost it? can they send it to me? Is it exactly the same as the original but modify, or a new one? Thanks for your answer

+Nicolás Jorge It's exactly the same as the original but modified :) The guy charged me around $45 USD. He cut open the old exhaust and took out the catalytic converter, reworked the internal chamber to allow the exhaust to shoot out directly so the engine breathes very freely. Then finally installed new fiberglass sheets to muffle the noise and repainted the exhaust can.
You can have it done in a local motorcycle shop in Spain. Or follow the HOW To of some guys on VanVan UK webboard here: suzukivanvan.forumandco.com/t1584p15-more-power-from-03-van-van?highlight=exhaust
