I am ❤loving❤ rings for all those reasons you described! I have *everything* in mine right now, expert memory keeping, which is in a Midori 5 Year Diary.
I might have missed it, but do you have a section for long term reference info, or do you keep that in a different planner?

Can you share more about what “soft scheduling” looks like for you? Is your weekly solely for soft scheduling? Do you update your Weekly to represent your final schedule?
I like trialing set up, then switch sections around based on what I need or use more… at different times of yr

Brings me back to my a5 Filofax days. I had found a hobonichi style paper scratch pad that was a5 at Walmart that I used to print on it was amazing. Then it disappeared and I searched for company name and nowhere to be found. I think they realized they were selling high end paper scraps as scraps lol it was like 2.50 for a thick block of it 😭😭

Dang it Lindsey! Stop making me want to go back to rings cuz I KNOW it doesn't work for me! You make it seem like the solution to all my issues, but I know I just can not write on the lefthand pages in a ring binder, I'm trying to just borrow what I can from you in a bound book, but I also know that rings would really help me organize my task managment better, it's just writing on the lefthand pages, I know I can't do that.... so I have to keep reminding myself I would just be trading off one issue for another 🤦♀️ you're really tempting me though!
Stay strong! I think I’m used to writing at odd angles and I’m home a lot so I don’t mind pulling out a page every now and then. But if it doesn’t work for you don’t let me get you sucked in! Thanks for watching though 💕
Stay strong!! Something similar happened to me, but I turn the binder and now I write with the pages horizontally, I still can't find peace between the aesthetics, but it fits my needs very well. Good luck searching, happy holidays
I just cut slits in the holes so I can pull the pages in and out.
@lindseyscribbles I will, I've got everything I need for my A6 bullet journal, can't afford another all new rings set up, that's for sure! I just have a few issues I know would be solved by rings, I'm trying to figure out how to remedy them in my bound nanami note. I wish there was some kind of soft ring spiral notebooks that were refillable like the kokuyo twist ring notebooks but soft and bendy and could hold more papers at once. I don't know if you understand what I mean, lol. I just need a way for my running task lists to be managed a little better, for them to be more flexible. I'll come up with it, i just need to sit and think about it, things have been so hectic the last few months here. Your set ups are always just so inspiring to me, I'll continue to follow your channel even when we aren't using the same thing! Merry Christmas! ❤️
@wormzhao I actually thought about doing that but all the reasons it would bother me started populating in my mind like spam site pop-ups 😆. I just have to keep reminding myself of why rings don't work for me, I know they don't, I tried to make them work for years, maybe I should make myself a list! 🤣
