Very pretty this bark. It brings everything together so well, especially the fact that the outline of the rooms is painted like the bark.
    I really like the result.

Much appreciated buddy! I hope the bark video wasn't too rough, but remember my bark is definitely worse than my bite.
Sorry... I know my jokes are barking mad, I can't help myself lol

I LOVE your gnome home! ❤❤❤ I didn’t realize until now the size of it. It is inspiring me to make one! 😊 That honeycomb cardboard stuff worked out great as the base! That is so cleaver to paper mache with the black tissue paper.!! 😮❤

Thanks Laura! Yeah it kind of ended up a lot bigger than I imagined but I guess when those creative juices are flowing, it's easier to just run with it hahaha

Wow! That really is looking like Tree Bark! I love that you used the black tissue paper as your base layer! The card board and paper mache' reminds me of the Dollhouses by "Stan Gregg"! Very Nice! Gnome family should be able to move in soon!!!💖💖💖😊☺️😊

@@littlegretchensworkshop7665 oooh I'll have to Google Stan Gregg, I haven't heard of him before! Always keen to check out other people's creations. You never know what inspiration you might find!

Yeeesss! a new video❣❣❣I loved watching the process. I like the idea of using foil and the black tissue paper. The fact that you can create texture and easily shape it. I love how realistic the tree looks after adding more detail and paint. The dangers of being a miniaturist: hot glue gun!

Thanks so much! Yes that hot glue gun is my crafting nemesis! It seems to be impossible to use it without burning myself hahaha

Your method is very interesting, and it seems so much easier than mine! You used way less foil, too. Using the black tissue paper saved you so much time! You have no idea! LOL
You've progressed much faster also. Well, that is my fault for not working at it for long stretches at a time, but luckily, we aren't in a race!
I think Sharon Ojala would be proud of you! I know I am.

That really means a lot to me Mary! If it wasn't for you sharing the pitfalls of when you were doing your treehouse, I wouldn't have sought out other methods to try, so thank you Mary your experience was a HUGE help to me!
