Love how there is no backround music, the sound of the work is just good.
My gosh those sounds are so satisfying
That sound is called ASMR
And, Music is SO distracting.... a “maker” truly appreciates the sounds of the craft!
I have been working with leather for a couple of years now after four decades as a woodworker (I still make a lot of shavings..) and between yours and Artie Shell 's(Mascon Leather) videos have been a mini apprenticeship. Thank you for sharing your skills and advise and costing me plenty in new tools!!! Merry Christmas to you and your family from Michigan (the 11th Province!!!)
LMAO about new tools. I just started woodworking about 5 years ago and leather a few months ago, so I get it!!
I ACTUALLY MADE MY FIRST WALLET!
And iv only been seriously into crafting for 2 DAYS!!! Obviously nowhere as good, but i just really wanted to carry with me a part of my grandad and e leather hobby he left behind. AND U HELPED MAKE THAT HAPPEN! Your tutorials are elaborate and clear for any noob that wants to start the craft. THANK U!
Your new space is gorgeous. And i hope to get more inspirations from your creations.
I just love how clean and inviting the new place is, every step of the process has it’s own set and I’m excited to see more videos
I've always found it clever how u oversize certain pieces in the glue up stage than trim to size after for a perfect/flush finish. Well done!
That's an old trick - but still a good one!
Love the “cookie cutter”! We use that same exact tool in my lab (I work in the tire/rubber industry). Color scheme, clean lines, and a variety of textures in the background make the shop look great. Nicely done!
My favorite part of your workshop is just that, your workshop and what it represents. It’s a physical representation of someone’s hard work and drive. You started out small following your passion and through perseverance you actually created a way to support your family, have a love for what you do and show other creatives like me to not give up. ❤️
i absolutely loved how your new office is so pretty and organized but still holds a feeling of personality and use, that's something that delivers a real good cozy and personal feeling! great job as always! just imagine, it's like a office with patina.
Favourite part of the vid - Loving the anvil - almost bought one the other day, going to now. The fact that your videos got me into leathercraft - the fact that you and that Raptor Driving Reprobate are buds is just making me smile!
I just love the shop, especially the large work table for the hides and the lighting is amazing... you rock!
came from Pete's channel and seeing how you moved from the basement to the new workshop inspired me to work harder. Me and my brother started a business out of the garage and still running it out of the garage, the business grew a lot over the last couple of years and continues to grow. You showed me that it is possible to move from a basement to a workshop and that for our business would be the ultimate.
Love the videos, love the good quality product! keep on making awesome videos.
Can't wait for the next one
My favorite part of the shop is you, and your unbridled enthusiasm for your craft. You can clearly see how much love you have for your work. I would pay whatever it cost for a product knowing the craftsman puts that much pride and care in his work.
Here from Peter, my favorite part is the anvil hammering on the key chain because I do a little bit of metalwork and just love that sound. I just watched a few of your videos and now I want to try this myself!
came here from
Peter McKinnon and so glad i did, love this stuff!
Peter says hi! Me as well but from Poland bruh! Keep up the sweet work!
Same
I love the simplicity of the two tones together and how easy but secure the credit card sits in the pocket. I find watching your videos just so peaceful 🙏🏼
The lighting in the new studio is amazing, every square inch is lit up perfectly! Peter is really hooking you up with viewers, glad to see the channel growing 👍
ahhh that press is my fav !!
Sorry to be so off topic but does any of you know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account?
I was stupid lost the password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me
@Maverick Immanuel instablaster =)
Just came from peter’s video, and I just love how you are enjoying what you are doing and it really motivates me a lot !
Your New Shop has more space, more room to breath, more room to pour love into your passion. Thank you for being.
The best thing about your shop is just how spacious it is and the incredible vibe it has! Love the fact that you expanded :)
"I wake up every day living my dream." This is so inspiring!! Favorite part of the shop has the be the click press, I could sit for hours using that thing! Love what you're doing with the channel and with your craft, again super inspiring. Peter sent me :)
Here from Peter my favorite part is probably the press it’s so satisfying I’m so happy I came to I’ll definitely be coming back to watch some more videos later
I like that the wallet is completely hand made with an eye to longevity - the more you use it, the better it looks. Thank's to Peter for the referral.
Dude! Love that Peter's plugging your stuff -- it's beautiful. Congrats on the new shop, and I can't wait to be a customer soon. I need a new card wallet. I love all the space and machinery you have and can now fit in nicely into the new place. Excited to follow along with you!
Here from peter, and happy I did because this is amazing! The ASMR is just incredible.
Love the way you make complicity look so simple. Love seeing you and Peter making things together, I think Peter wants to get back in the leather making industry.
The best part is that you built it yourself!! I’m sure the gratification of seeing a personal, unique vision come to life & through your own labor is UNREAL!!!
The OCD in me loves the fact that everything has its place... a “station”. Keep it up. Congratulations on your success.
*Please make a video on all the tools you use in the process of making these 🔥 finished products!!!*
I have a video like that. ruclips.net/video/71ZEFw2tbKk/видео.html
My favorite thing about the new shop is the same thing Ryan loves about the clicker press, the "jet" engine sound
What I most love about your shop is that it mixes the old ways letherforming with new and modern tools you use.
Here from Pete; I absolutely love the creative energy that place is giving off. My father would love such a shop. :D
That dope island with the leather storage has my OCD tingling...
Favorite thing about the new shop is the darker colors that all match and seem to match you as a person. This is from Peters channel, so glad he put you on there!
What i love about your current shop is that it wasn't realised overnight, but over so many hurdles and obstacles that you've faced. Congratulations on the new shop, Ryan!
Great workshop, loving the overall interior design and practicality of your workspace. Nice website btw.
Peter sent me, commenting from South Africa.
You’re trending in the UK👊🏼
The colour combination of this wallet makes it so rich yet the design is so simple. Watching the hand sewn part is pure therapy...
Love everything about your new studio . It’s an inspiration to us all showing with hard work and dedication to the art that you love all things are possible and for that I applaud you keep it up . Sure did make me smile seeing you in your new studio .
Hard to pick anything other than the sweet press machine as my favorite part of the new office. But congrats on the new place!! I need that wallet because I still have a wallet in my back pocket 🤮
I totally love the Nat sound in your videos! Chills! That press! The warming up sound is beyond cool!
I have watched this video like 5 times lol. I’d love to make one of these for myself. But I don’t have the tools :(
Some day I hope to be able to do it.
I just watched Peter’s video and I really liked the atmosphere of your new studio. The lighting sets the perfect mood for crafting stuff (I’m an architecture student and I’d love to make my models on that kind of atmosphere)
I’d say I came from Peter, but I was already subscribed. Your videos are relaxing and inspiring. Your craft is beautiful. Like one of my favourite architects said: God is in the details and less is more
Hey mate,
It is newer late to try out some handcraft. 3 months ago I literally made a wallet with 2 needles, some basic threads, leftover leather from a local shop, a nail as a stitching iron with a small hammer, a hobby razor and a 3 dollar edge burnish tool. Marking the stitching with a fork? Absolutely working!
And hey it was a lot fun to do, great experience and I should say that many of my friends and relatives are appreciated my work and liked that stuff. Some of them also received a self made leather gift from me and others will follow.
So just grab some old tools look around at your local hardware shop and get similar equipment or use your imagination and replace them like I did with the nail. I am sure those will be enough for a hobby leather crafting.
Cheers and good luck 😉
Almost forgot to highlight what I like about your new shop Ryan:
The contrast of the walls, ceiling, all the tables are pretty awesome and including a clear bricked section makes it even more cozy together with the lights spotting out from the dark. It is also stunning to see how well organized your tools and equipments.
I would be happy to have the same vibes in my living room 😎.
I am really glad to be able to see the progress of your channel and you share these contents of your work here. Also many thanks to Peter for the introduction of your channel.
Cheers
Kozma Bálint thanks. I’ll try to start soon enough :)
you sir will inspire so many people!!! the fact that you were ambitious enough to build a new shop while trying to fulfill so many orders lets us as viewers know that you have your entire heart and should invested into this skill that you have. your shop is amazing and it was obviously well thought out and planned. good luck to you in the future as your leather goods business grows!!!
What i love? Honestly, it's the whole aesthetic. Everything fits so well together. The things you make, the building, the decoration, everything! You totally made it YOUR space. Awesome :)
Ryan: Really an obscure question. How high is your work surface? Is it standard height? I have trouble with using my roller cutter. I use a knife. Just wondering if my work surface was a bit lower if I would better success with it. Thanks.
Great stuff!! Can i get this pattern? I didn’t see it on your website
Love watching your leather videos! It's always great watching people do what they love! Beautiful craftsmanship too! Thank's to Peter for giving so many people a heads up to your channel!
My favorite part of your new shop is simply that you built it all yourself. Well despite all the fancy leatherwork machines, but excellent work. It looks magnificent.
So when will you offer this one on your online store?
What leather weights did you use?
Love the organization of all entire workshop! Your craftsmanship is incredible, thanks Peter McKinnon for promoting Ryan!
The whole color pallet of your office sets the tone and has a blacksmith handmade feel. It’s important to work in a place that will enhance creativity! I’m glad @PM introduced me to your channel!
*Where do you use the waste leather cutouts???*
Lots of areas my friend. Lacing can be cut from pieces, others can be used for decorative accents. Excellent question!
From Peter McKinnon but I have to say I love the little anvil cause I can imagine little dwarves men making things with it
Favourite thing about your new shop. That lighting. I repeat, that lighting.
My favorite thing about you new shop is for sure the industrial lighting fixtures and textures preserved on the walls. It definitley fits with the leather working!!
Just some constructive criticism my friend, in my opinion your sponsored messages should be towards the beginning or end of your videos. Personally, I find they disrupt the entire mood set by the sounds of your work and they're quite shocking (due to their loud nature). Apart from that, I find your videos to be of very high quality and as a long time viewer I can tell your videography has been getting better! Best wishes to you and your family this holiday season!
Greetings from Russia!
Yo love how the shop is so open and not closed off! Such a simple shop
Loved your recent shop tour with Peter! And the fact that you had the machinery timed down to the second of its engine revving up shows JUST how passionate you are about your leather making. Keep up the awesome videos! 🙌🏻
Here because of Pete, drooling over your merch because of Pete!
You’re what I wish I could be with leather. Please, PLEASE keep it up!
I love how neat and organized everything is! Love the click press, always handy to have the right tools! Your videos are so relaxing.
The flow of the new shop is my favorite part
Honestly all of the table space and work benches make my heart so happy😍😍 it's always great seeing the collabs you do with Peter. I look forward to some great content to come.
Came from peters video. Favourite part of your new shop is the fact you do it all yourself, you remind me so much of my father, he is a blacksmith, leathersmith and a bit of everything smith. He passes his skills onto me and my little brother who's just turned 15, he has already made two knives (9 inches long) and two swords, he has also fully completed a chainmail chest piece out of fencing wire he got a couple Christmas' ago. I am more into the photography and videography side of things, hence the discovery of peters channel, but he has inspired me as you have inspired my brother and my father to keep doing what they've been doing. Also, my dad creates houses and sheds too, and I help him with that, just the similarities you share make me smile and think that its great to see like-minded creators is an amazing thing. Thanks for reading :D
The look of your space is so satisfying, the recessed lighting and the ceiling painted black is such a nice touch. The concrete tubes for organizing your leather is genius.
So smooth, so suave, such buttery goodness!
my favorite thing of your new shop is how organized your shop is. A feat in itself.
My words of encouragement... you are so super talented, never stop creating with authenticity as you are doing. You are inspiring others.
The lighting in this new building is just perfect
It's beautiful to see a craftsman at work. Pleasure.
Best part of new shop has to be the sunlight...finally for yourself some natural light
Here from PM’s video and I really liked seeing the leather sewing machine and knowing everything you do is hand made. Not just an industrial chain. That was very « personal touch »!!
Handmade is better! I love watching tutorials, and appreciate all of the knowledge both you and Peter share! I have a small handmade business and have been wanting to make tutorials for some time now and I think this video gave me the push. What I love most about your shop is that it exists! That's a huge deal! Congratulations and the best of wishes for your business.
Absolutely loved the lighting of the new office, the overhead lights over the table just looked perfectly matched
I love how calm the overall video is with such raw sounds of the process. truly beautiful :)
The setup and flow of your workshop is definitely my favorite part of it all. It seems like you have a great layout and your work is phenomenal! I will definitely be purchasing some of your products.
Watching this video without any music is so soothing.
I love your minimalistic but advanced way when it comes to crafting all your beautiful artworks, how you've put so much work into these videos, the look of the shop and much more!!
Peter gave me the luck to find your channel.
Favourite thing about the new shop: The organization is on point!
I love that you are so meticulous in your work. And that you build your new shop. A lot of pride from that. Fan for life!
Honestly the best thing about your shop is seeing how happy you are doing what you love that is awesome. Wish you much success
the best thing about the shop got to be the way it looks, just looks amazing
I believe the best part of the new shop is the extra SPACE! There’s nothing better than having more room to organize the things that you need and to give you more breathing room!
Keep up the great work!
I love that you make your workspace on your own
My favorite part of your new workspace has to be that dope workbench with your leather storage underneath. That shot Peter got of you pulling out the leather roll and then rolling it open was epic! Love your work Ryan keep up the great work.
The Clicker Press looked cool. Thanks Pete for introducing your audience to Ryan. Little King Goods produces beautiful leather goods!
Love you passion and love how organized and spacious your new shop is!
"cookie cutter" was definitely the most satisfying thing to watch Peter use whilst at your space, final products look clean man keep it up!
Your new office looks so damn good. So much room for new projects and just amazing footage of the butteriest leather goods available. I love your new spot, just the magnitude of how you've come and how far you'll go. Make me want to work harder and give max effort in my filmmaker / RUclips journey!
Love how minimalist the shop looks! Everything looks clean and modern! keep it up
Love the sound of scoring and cutting leather
I love your pride and your happiness, you clearly enjoy what you do and your big beaming smile relays that to us, the audience, easily!
Favourite part of your new studio is that it allows your passion to grow. It’s a symbol of your hard work and dedication to your craft and a reward for never ever giving up! We can all learn from that !
Favorite part of the new shop is the aesthetic! Peter's B-roll was really able to take advantage of the colors, lighting, and space you set up. A+ work as well! Loved the stuff you guys made in the video!
I love the look and feel - the exposed brick offset against the more minimalist studio. It’s clean and beautiful.
Favourite part of your shop is that you have all your
own custom designs. You are living the dream!
I think the best detail on the new workshop is the wrought iron, classic and useful all the time.
men love the contrast and the overall design but just the dark colour and using a lot of lights thats my favorite things
Love the new workshop. My favorite thing is still your handiwork, I mean those sweet details chiseled down to perfection, it's just so satisfying...
I just adore the quality of your craftsmanship. So much passion goes into this and it shows! Love the cinematography of your videos as well!
Damn, I love how aesthetically pleasing your shop is. It's just so perfect
Me too. Calm, Neat and clean.
Cookie cutter has to be hands down the coolest machine in your shop.
