Matt you saved the day by recording this for AG, the NPS version audio was nearly worthless ! And glad Troy gave you a well deserved shout out .

Thanks! Me too. I think the park service took the whole video down. Right?

Thanks again for recording these. I admit I usually listen/watch the park service versions for the slide show they present, but the audio quality on this one was less than desirable to say the least. I still had it up and skipped along for the photos Troy presented. Outstanding presentation by Troy, really top notch.

This was so freaking good. Troy gave a ranger talk on little round, top a couple of years ago and mentioned that Johnston and his men were dressed in civilian clothes. I’ve always been curious about that ever since and I was glad to hear him clarify.

Matt, thank you so much for recording these programs! I thought I would post the link to the paper Troy mentions at 9:55: www.npshistory.com/series/symposia/gettysburg_seminars/16/essay6.pdf (part of the Papers of the Semi-Annual Gettysburg National Military Park Seminar, 2017, which can be found here in its entirety: www.npshistory.com/series/symposia/gettysburg_seminars/16/index.htm ).
