Once again, the laughter and review is much appreciated. Would that I had found you before the series ended. Never fear~I shall be on board for S 2. Thank you both.
Great review Ladies. As I have rewatched the episodes again, I think the moment Sidney starts falling for Charlotte is when Old Stringer gets injured and Sidney sees how generous Charlotte is to people. The tearing of her dress showed Sidney that even though Charlotte doesn’t have much compared to several others, she’s completely unselfish to give of herself (and dress) to help those in need, something Sidney may have done in his younger days but lost in the past ten years. I think those feelings were the spark Sidney needed to start to actually care for someone again
I think that Sidney already likes playing with Tom and Mary's children. There was a nursemaid there, as well. I think Mary is pushing them together and sent her to get the children, deliberately. ☺️
I always thought Lady Denham's hypochondriac comment was a dig at Tom's siblings. I think Tom's reasoning is that the sea town is meant for improving one's health and having a doctor legitimizes this aspect of his enterprise.
Yes - his thought to add money by all the hypochondriacs is a smart one - (one of few haha) but it doesn't fulfill Crowe and Babbers' problem (or any of the beau monde)!
@@austenaddiction8188 No they need several ahem "boarding" houses and gambling dens. 😂 I just watched the 2nd episode again last night and was amused to notice Crowe and Babb's kissing up the bar maids before Sydney takes his famous dip.
The way SP looks at CH, when she is tending to IS, is, exactly, the same as the way Capt.W looks at AE, as she tends Louise, after the accident, on The Cob, Lyme Regis.
Thank you so much, Julie!!! We are so glad you are enjoying our Sanditon reviews! After you finish those, check out all our extra videos including our reviews of Emma and Bridgerton!
So in my opinion, the doctor was a great idea. Doctors back then, and apothecaries were kind of "up and coming" (in the sense of cosmetic popularity), so the concept of wellness via "inner health" and facials was super fringe, but really starting to catch on. So we see Dr. Fuchs applying mud masks (super common now) and brewing tonics, which is 100% what people are into now ya know? Like, "oh, every morning I do a facial and take a shot of kombucha and green juice before my yoni steam". It's a whole thing that's really popular with rich people with time on their hands, and much of it started to catch on in the 19th century and into the early 20th. To be fair we didn't perfect this stuff until the mid 20th century, but in the late 18th and early 19th century when this takes place, doctors like that were super weird, but niche and cool.
Yes, but it's not quite what they all had in mind is it?! Also did you notice that after their mud treatment, Diana's face was all red and rashy and broken out?! Eek! And did he draw people there? Perhaps we shall see more in Season 2 if we get one! :)
Yes… have you seen the casting news from Masterpiece? The have announced 2 new gentlemen who will be vying for Charlotte’s eye. Not who we were hoping for sadly, but we shall have to see what happens in Season 2 & 3!
@@austenaddiction8188 Yes, I have seen the casting news. Not sure about those two gentlemen. I wonder what they're going to do with the Sidney character. Seems like they will ignore it altogether. Where is Tom Bateman when you need him? Love you two, so cute together!!
Dear ladies you are so much fun! I love it! We desperately need season 2!
Thank you and YES! #SandtionSeason2 #SaveSanditon #SandtionPBS
"Special thanks to Theo James for having teeth" 😂 You ladies are hilarious😂
haha! Thanks for watching til the end!! We all need some laughs right now! :)

You are so sweet! We actually didn't start filming until there were only a few episodes left! We will post another review this weekend!
It is one of my favorite episodes and your review is well done, funny and is much appreciated. I love you both!
Wow, thank you! We love you too! :)
Well then...favorite line this episode. Great job ladies!
Thanks so much, Deborah!
I agree on the fan...so funny! I need a fan too when I watch Sydney. And I'm with you on how he causes us to be 'flustered'.
Oh yes, Kathy! You must get a fan for all those Sidney moments!
Great job 😁
Thank you ever so!

Sidney has a hangover, after 5 bottles of wine. He's supposed to have an import/export business.

This is hilarious, they notice all the best scenes. 😄😄😄
Aww thank you so much! We hope you enjoy every episode! More coming soon! Stay tuned!

The fan! The fan!!!!!! Hahahahahaha
Get yourself one, dear! Every gentle lady needs a fan!!
After the shell collecting conversation, I didn't understand Mary's expression, as she walked away from Charlotte. She looked a bit annoyed!
These ladies 😂😂😂 & the 🔥flash fan🤣

SP looks as though his boots don't fit and he's struggling to walk! 😃
For having teeth!!!! God almighty! Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah
haha! Well wouldn't you like to see them up close?! hahaha!

I've heard that Georgiana painted a naked man coming out of the sea. Although they could be wrong.
I’ve heard it was a very inappropriate picture whatever it was! Dear me! What would Jane say?! 🤣
