@carterkiller I was saying drivers, not vehicles. What you wrote about Japanese cars being better at drifting is purely opinionated as lots of european and american production cars even older models, came balanced from factory. Some D1GP american racers drive japanese brands. Regardless, you cant compare these fully built racing cars to oem production vehicles because they have been completely stripped, modified and tuned specifically for drifting not daily driver use.
@kiddstarstrucc I don't know how it is regulated in the US. But over here in Europe you need to go to a rally school and get a rally license first. Perhaps give your local driving school a call, and ask if they have any addresses. Defensive driving lessons beforehand help out as well (you learn how cars behave). There's certain things that are just better if they are thought to you the right way, bad habits are hard to unlearn, for this such places are vital. Good luck.
Ive been lookin all around on the net and im trying to become a rally car driver our a Drifter and noone or no where tells me how to start does anyone know or can give me a place to go or what to do?
Not to be a hater or anything but I dont like scions or Tanner Foust. That comment on Japanese drifters always winning is Bullshit. Samuel Hubinette and Vaugh Gitten Jr have won Drifting competitions with USDM cars and they're american. Not to mention that none of these cars are even close to stock so the comparison is just ignorant and fail. Though I realize most of these people claiming JDM = best are probably initial D fanboys who need to grow up.
Pretty amazing what a RWD Scion can do.
Now they have to make a Nascar powered Time Attack Car.
GO GET 'EM SCION!!!
Stephan where did your blue ek9 with infinity kappa subs go, that thing was tight!
