sorry to be offtopic but does someone know a way to get back into an instagram account? I was stupid lost my login password. I love any tips you can offer me!
@Emmanuel Francisco thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm in the hacking process now. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
so the top line is just a ccv line basically a vacuum line the other you see are coolant lines that go into the throttle body. to help with cold weather. your car may be different but if you order your kit specific to your car it will have those accommodations.
What exactly did you do with the coolant line that goes from the block to the throttle body? Leave the stock one or just replace it with a straight hose connecting the ports?
I deleted the stock metal line and ran a new line from the block to the throttle body works fine but really you can just leave it and it works just as well.. But i deleted because i also install a throttle body spacer as well and i would of delated anyway as well.
Yea so with the other half I used it for a coolant line that goes from the block to the throttle body. For just looks and for the next upgrade of the throttle body spacer I was gonna need a extra inch of line for what was originally there.
Zay's Automotive thanks bro. So i have literally the same car, just put the intake on. Im getting a whistle when accelerating. I thought i had the clamps super tight. Did you replace the filter?
No problem and that's great you post a vid on it !!! I check out you gun videos too pretty cool. The whistle is normal its just the motor breathing better!! and for the filter you can replace it or I just clean it out with water and let it completely dry.
You may want to get of make a heat shield to isolate the filter from the rest of the engine. While it is a ways away the heat of the engine bay with still reach it. Nice job tho.
Zay's Automotive is no problem mine is 94 accord ex so I've encountered somethings while working on it. Also if you haven't done it yet look into getting some new spark plugs and spark wires. NKG all the way my friend.
Zay's Automotive you also need to get your computer reprogrammed after every modification otherwise you waste your time , performance chips do not cost a lot , that way you get them tweaked also for higher octane fuel and any other modifications you have done , i watched that video you did on acceleration times and you were 0-60 mph in about 9.1 seconds these cars factory do 8.6 seconds . So all the mods you are doing are pointless without computer programming in fact its making your car slower
So I want to do this to my honda but my friend said it would run like shit because the computer isnt programmed for it. Is there any truth to that? Do you gotta reprogram the ecu to get it to run properly?
You can add any cold air filter k and N is the best from local auto stores and no it does not effect the engine or throw any codes or check engine lights if anything u will get better throttle response and better. Gas mileage
You might want to add one any autoparts store have them or junyards. It allows the colant to boil into the bottle. its also a easy way to keep a eye on your colant level.
@@ZaysAutomotive Mine did come with a big hose clamp and an aluminum angle. No instructions, you just gotta do your best and make it work; I made it work. I also needed to add some insulation rubber for vibrations. (My engine vibrates without the balance shafts)
These things are more detrimental versus the so called “performance boosts” they give. The only thing this’ll do is shorten the car’s lifespan. It doesn’t increase mpg, or horsepower. It just makes noise. That’s pretty much it. When adding one of these you still need to reprogram the computer for it to work flawlessly. And even then, the accord wasn’t designed for this to begin with. Any amateur who thinks they can just remove the stock and replace it with this, is sadly in for a bad time. Especially if they do it wrong.
You shoulda just pulled the lower section of the factory air intake system off and tossed it in the garbage and zip tied the breather filter to the top section of the factory air intake. results? the same as seen if not better.
That’s not a cold air intake. It’s sucking hot air now, good job. For it to be a cold air intake the intake has to be down toward the bottom of the fender, away from the HOT AIR of the engine.
Seems easy enough. I need a new air intake because mine looks old (or do they get old?) I bought the car 2 years ago. I wanna start working on it little by little.
NOOB NOOB honestly bro im not sure theres prof that it’s does and it dose not make a noticeable difference. but it’s sounds cool looks cool and it’s entertaining and I enjoyed it so for 30 dollars why not ?!
Lots of people say it does but to me it makes me want to drive faster but the fact that the cold air is more dense and the motor is breathing better i would say so but only give you small effect
Short Ram is short and it usually sits in the engine bay. Cold air intake usually sits in the fender or has heat shielding around it.. Short ram sounds and looks cool for a cheap price. Cold air is all of those but has a performance increases and a little more expensive.
Thank you dude and sounds good on the end part. Ill be doing mine tomorrow. To bad this shit does allow us to send money to you for sharing. If it did , Id put down a $20 minimum.
He realizes that this is a short ram air intake right? It’s intaking the warm air from the engine bay. A real cold air intake take in the “cold” air from outside the engine bay.
Dumb ass haters think adding a cold air or ram air intake to a honda doesn't add any hp but loses hp but they think if they add one to their gay ass camaro all of the sudden it adds 50+hp...idiots lol
😂...by definition, what you initially took out was more of a cold air intake than the aftermarket air induction setup. Your OE airbox pulled in cool air from the outside of your engine compartment. The aftermarket setup you installed is quite literally pulling all the hot air from your engine compartment into your engine. Lol, it's ok...when I was a kid, I pulled the same shit. Then I grew up and became ASE certified and learned the error of my ways.😂
That's one fucked up rusting dirty looking engine. I was you I would rather not bother changing shit plus a dirty af filter gtfoh No maintenance on this car, junk that piece of shit better. 🤣😂🤣
How about cleaninh your engine Bay first buddy
noob in training lol cleaning 🧼
I just got my 2000 honda accord ex. Ima put in the cool air intake first . Thanks bro
Good luck!

@Emmanuel Francisco it worked and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy!

Wow that looks so easy. I'm confident I can just order this and install it myself
Well?
@@mikeverything4098 I bought the wrong size part lol

i always wanted to know how that thing went on and work. appreciate the video. thank you.
Any time!
What did you do with all the other lines that you used the blue hose to replace?? I got like like 4
so the top line is just a ccv line basically a vacuum line the other you see are coolant lines that go into the throttle body. to help with cold weather. your car may be different but if you order your kit specific to your car it will have those accommodations.
You make it seem so easy! Thank you :)
Happy to help!
Facts only person i found that actually showed every step now i know how to do it an know i can do it cause its so easy thanks mane💯💪🔥
What exactly did you do with the coolant line that goes from the block to the throttle body? Leave the stock one or just replace it with a straight hose connecting the ports?

Damn they use Alot of road Salt where you live.
Milwaukee man really shitty winters
Can you explain what you did with the smaller hose? Looks like you cut it in half and used the other half just below it.
Yea so with the other half I used it for a coolant line that goes from the block to the throttle body. For just looks and for the next upgrade of the throttle body spacer I was gonna need a extra inch of line for what was originally there.

Zay's Automotive that ever so lovely acceleration rumble.

good video man, thanks
No problem man appreciate the support !!
What about the sensor hookup
Mine has a sensor on the stock one how do you transfer that ?
Thanks
Your specific kit will have a location to it
Aye nice vid keep it up amma try to keep my accord wit yours 😁 i got 02 accord special edition 👍🏼
Make some videos let me see it bro and thank you for the kind words!
I have a 1998 Honda accord. I like the idea, thank you
No problem!
eeekkkk!!! making me cringe setting those tools on a live battery!!
100% right and had to learn my lesson the hard way even after reading this!! smh thanks for the warning!
So I want to do this to my honda but my friend said it would run like shit because the computer isnt programmed for it. Is there any truth to that? Do you gotta reprogram the ecu to get it to run properly?
no it's not a nissan lol
You can add any cold air filter k and N is the best from local auto stores and no it does not effect the engine or throw any codes or check engine lights if anything u will get better throttle response and better. Gas mileage
Its not a major change to the motor the ECU will actually see that the motor is breathing better and adjust the air fuel..
Nice vid, hey when you changed your spark plug wires did u changd distributor as well or just wires?
Yes I did
I just changed my wires fuck the distributor it’s going on 4k miles
Gotta 94 didn't come with a overflow resovor...how important is that
You might want to add one any autoparts store have them or junyards. It allows the colant to boil into the bottle. its also a easy way to keep a eye on your colant level.
???? So this intake comes with no support brackets and is only held up by the clamps and whatever happens to be under it ????
This one does because its so cheap but more expensive ones do have supports.
@@ZaysAutomotive Mine did come with a big hose clamp and an aluminum angle. No instructions, you just gotta do your best and make it work; I made it work. I also needed to add some insulation rubber for vibrations. (My engine vibrates without the balance shafts)
So at 2:13 how did you remove that metal line?
It has pinch pinch clamps to them if you just squeeze them then pull out the metal ling you good to go..

LOL thanks for the love
What's that blue hose ?
On the top it is Crank case ventilation it get recirculated threw the engine.
Yo i installed a cold air intake on my 1990 honda accord but it doesnt make the intake noise like yours does any help??
Its the throttle body spacer makes that noise!
Where did you bolt the bracket ? To hold it steady
Strut tower..
why are your coil pack cables blue also.?
lol i did that off camera.
whats the size of the hose????can anyone tell me the diameter of the hose so that i can order a set of cold air intake for 2002????thanks guys
I cant honestly forgot but its in stock at your local autoparts stores take a pice with you and match it up!

Lets see your ghetto rig... gotta link?
lets see it bro !!
Why we should change this filter what is the benefit of this
more air flow means more power!

Yea the actual filter itself get dirty you can either replace it or clean it. But both items are sold at the autoparts store.
Its a short ram.
doper gang bang wait whats lol

ohh and the check engine did not come on and the cold air intake done correct will not cause a engine light.
Hey man, where did you get the cold air intake from??
Jesús looks like more important things need to be done then the intake lol
I need the rust for the weight reduction!
Where did u get ur air intake bro I been tryna find one
Ebay
What's the diameter of the vacuum hose?
the big one is 1/2 inch.. The smaller one is 1/4 inch..

what's the diameter of the tubing? the product doesnt ship to my country :/
Burcey B that sucks 2.5 inch tubing
Great video good and clear instructions earned and like and sub from me

Where you buy this
online just put your year make and model in on amazon..
Did it help with the mpg??

Where’d u get the intake? Send me the link

Which in turn can give you a better noise, but ultimately lower horsepower output depending on engine size, and how hot the air is
