Grew up with a two tone white over green MKII (like the one at 1:45) in New Zealand. My old man had one until 1986. It was still in immaculate condition and was his daily driver. Had 240,000 miles on the clock with 2 engine rebuilds. It was sold to what we thought was a collector, but ended up in a car yard 2 weeks later for more than 3 times what my Dad sold it for! We saw it in a procession and it had won an award for best MKII in the country at the time. We sometimes wonder what happened to old AE108?
In Australia, in my youth, l had a black, 52 model mark 1, one of the very early Zephyrs, with a flat dashboard, great car. I modified the exhaust manifold, to make the exhaust two in, two out, it sounded superb.
Hello to all. Love these cars... First engine I ever saw the inside of, soooo many years ago. Now, in 2019, it sits in my deceased father's yard, waiting for a new home. Needs an interior, but body is solid. Can anyone help me with figuring out how much they vary in price? It's in Canada. Very nice body on it. Transmission has been gone over. New clutch. Car was repainted in the 80's. Body is solid. All glass is good. Sitting since 95. Been started and moved... Any information or advice as to finding a new home for it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. ..
I want to emigrate to NZ. We made these cars in the UK but disregarded them as being crap - they all got used for 'banger-racing' in the 70s and 80s and very, very few are left :(

Great example of a fine English Ford, But how come every car is "tail down" ??
just don't try and spin the tires I've had to chace down way too many axles that way
