ATX changed around 2005. S.u.c & swisha house stayed in Austin. We even had a real screw tape shop in austin. It's gentrified now and is completely different.

Im not trying to disrespect Austin in anyway but I had no idea there was a hood there. I did my CDL training in Killeen and I would stay with my aunt on the weekends in Austin. I was amazed by how the entire city felt safe.
its gentrified now, but certain areas werent safe at all. It was a lot of shit going in back in the day. It wasnt a lot of murders like other cities but a lot of robberies and drugs. Now everybody pretty much moved to the outskirts and white people took over those areas. its some areas that still get down tho but it aint like how it used to be
