Honestly, everyone saying "Just here from Bratayley" or "I just heard about her from Bratayley" It's a little rude and honestly kind of sad that the 2008 AA Silver Medalist and Beam Gold medalist is more unknown than a youtube family vlog channel? It's not a bad thing if you didn't know of her, but It's quite rude to say "Just here from Bratayley" instead of saying something about her instead. An example from a commenter I don't mind because it's still giving respect to Shawn and saying where you came from to connect with others.

Its not really rude. It might not be the nicest thing to say but rude would be "shes a bad gymnast or soemthing (which she clearly is not!!) ....thats really rude unlike saying how you found out about her. And yeah one thing brataley fans are often to young to have watched her 2008 and brataley is not all about gymnastics , even if you dont care about gmynastics its fun for you to watch whereas gymnastic olympic performance are only interesting for people who love gymnastics and care about it a lot.

A lot of folks commenting that are probably teens since that seems to be Bratayley's main audience. They may be too young to remember Shawn at the Olympics.
What amazed me about Shawn throughout the Olympics is her balance. Whenever she does a flip or anything, she just lands so lightly and very rarely loses that balance. She is very good, and I'd love to see her back for the 2012 Games, but it looks like she might pursue other things. I wish her well.

Shawn is so cute, and not in a "I want to date her" way, but in a "I want to hug her way". Also, can you imagine how nervous her parents where when they watch her when normal people get nervous when they don't even know her.
I’m sure her parents trust her when she does this stuff, I mean they know she practices a lot and knows what she is doing.

no, not because she was mentally or physically worn out from the Olympics. she did an easier safer version of her routine so she wouldn't get hurt. whengymnast r on tv they do easier routines so they don't get hurt.
