- Welcome to my MAKEUP DECLUTTER SERIES! This is Episode 2 - Decluttering my foundations (part 1).
I am finally going through my makeup yet again! About three years ago I had done a makeup declutter series, however, it's been 3 years so ANOTHER ONE is a MUST! Some makeup has to definitely go!
So not to overwhelm myself and not to overwhelm you with a long video I like sectioning my declutters by products. So we will be working on decluttering in the same way that we apply our makeup - product by product!
And so the second product that I like to apply is a FOUNDATION, and so this is episode 2 of my makeup declutter series where I shall be sharing my foundations. Now I have two drawers of foundations truth be told so this video is PART 1 of decluttering my foundations! Here I will be sharing with you my top picks of drugstore foundations as well as showing you guys how I organise my foundations!

Hey MG, you've got quite the collection of foundations! It's definitely a challenge to declutter them. While I don't have as many, I still need to sort through what I do have. I'm particularly fond of the Max Factor tinted serum, WnW, and ELF Liquid filter. Your drawer organization is impressive; it's inspiring me to tackle my own decluttering soon. Hiya hun! I enjoyed watching this. You have quite a collection there, I used to have loads myself but I didn’t use them as much and they would just sit there and stare at me 😂, waste of money. I’ve cut back a lot now especially since I tend to buy more high end ones as they work better for my skin. I do need to however throw some out myself so this inspired me!

I am very proud of your decluttering Kezzia. You got rid of so many foundations I know is hard to let go but we have to.. oh that Essence skin tint was really awful I am surprised is still on the market. I haven't heard anyone loving it. Ohh the Catrice HD Coverage that was probably my fost favorite from the drugstore. I also love the max Factor tinted serum the WnW and the ELF Liquid filter. Your drawer looks very neat. I have to do a declutter soon. Keep me motivated so I can start doing it 😅. Looking for the part 2. Hugs 😘
hey dear julia, thank you so much for your supportive comment !!! wehave to let go for sure!!! the catrice hd coverage - what a foundation !! i need to use it - tomorrow i shall !!! max factor really do some amazing foundations :) i love how my drawers came to look like so far, cannot wait to continue decluttering!
With foundations I tend not to buy drugstore brands. I will with lipstick and mascara but with foundation and eye shadow I usually shop at places like Sephora. The NYX sounds good this may be an exception for me. The Essence Pretty Hydration sounds good too. Hmmm you have me interested in the Revolution full foundation even though I generally do not like full foundations. Ugh I can't wear something if it does not smell good. That Revolution CC cream sounds good to me as I am fan of CC creams. The Halo sounds great as well. I recently tried an Ila foundation I really liked. Loved following along on your decluttering! 👍😍😙

How long do you usually keep a foundation before throwing out? I’m curious 😊
well thats a good question :) i keep them till i do a declutter haha and if they are not smelling right i would throw away !! and even if from the bottle i see thats something off... i know they have an expiration date, but i dont always abide but i wouldnt then keep it example a year past its expiration date x
