My son worked on these floats!!!!! We are so proud!!!! Been watching you since 2020! Thanks for the positive feedback, thank you for putting this out. We came to Orlando in 2020 when he was 16🎉and he said I will either be working for Disney or Universal Studios and here he is, he manifested that! He's 20 now! He's also working on things for the Epic Universe park....this is so exciting as a parent to see. We'll be visiting next Summer for the Opening....

I’ve had the pleasure of working on these floats for the past 6 weeks! It’s soooo rewarding to see everyone’s reactions to it, so much work and passion went into this parade. Thank you for coming out!! Fun fact: if you watch the parade floats go back stage they have a little finale with the T-Rex where the music changes a little bit and she does a bigggg roar!

The new floats were cool, but the float attendants needed to put a little pep in their steps. I only saw one girl that looked happy to be in the parade. The rest looked like they were auditioning for a zombie performer at HHN

I was there in the AP area so I saw the ending . They had a really hard time getting the floats backstage. The parade was at a standstill for almost 5 minutes. The T. rex was right in front of me, that was the coolest float. Loved the saliva coming out of her mouth! And that roar!! The whole parade was awesome. Congrats to all the hard work team members put in, it really showed!

I love the small details and how they mixed some of the sequels with the OG films, like the Spengler kids & Louis Tully; and the fact that the Gyrosphere had both Ludlow and Franklin in it! 😂 Great mashups, and it’s so fun looking and nostalgic!

They should have added a light beam to the proton packs. Make it look like their was really a stream of proton
@@AliciaP07 that's what was coming down the sides, the proton streams...but since this was the tech rehearsal maybe they will add it?
@@gkngc04 I did not notice so maybe it was our issue. I would like you to see a full light Beam out the end and if they cross they make sounds kinda like original movie.
My favorite is ET and Back to the Future wish I was there at Universal Florida
This parade does look like a ton of fun!! We went to Universal this past March and fell in love with it!! We can’t wait to go back to see all the new stuff they have added, especially Epic Universe!

The parade is definitely next level. I love the mixture of the old and new movies. Something for everyone. My hope is that the shark on the Jaws float will move
I just said this to myself. I was hoping the shark moves and the stay out man moves.
Great parade but it would have been nice to see something come out of the ghost busters guns. Maybe a long string or air tube or something, it is universal where they can make anything happen. Can’t wait until our October visit.
The Jurassic Park and Ghostbusters floats were epic!! I loved how they had actors portraying characters from the movies involved too. Quint on the boat for Jaws was amazing!

They should work on the details. The parade seems too empty at first. The BTTF part desperately Needs a real delorean driving on the street and more characters walking on the floor or next to the float. Like Biff and his goons from the future. Maybe Marti on the float and Doc driving the car. Dreamworks part needs more characters on the floor walking. You shouldn't keep all the characters on the float. It makes the parade look empty. Something should be happening all the time on the float and around. From ghostbusters on, it looked better. The cast members or crew should be dressed to the theme of the floats. Not neon green. Specially if they are going to be standing next to the floats the whole parade. It just takes away from the immersion. Feel like the bicycles on ETs float should be able to pedal or at least have them go up and down. They just look odd hanging there doing nothing. Also is weird seeing the jaws float not be an animatronic but then you got the big T rex at the end as a full animatronic. seems like they spent good money on some of these float but not all. Would have loved to see jaws as an animatronic on the float. Monsters, Beetlejuice, Men in black, Shrek, transformers, simpsons and Harry potter all missing from this parade. What happened? Cool to see universal taking parades seriously and doing honor to some of my favorite movies. Hope they fix some of these things in the future.

Fantastic parade. The floats were well planned. The choreographed dancers fun & animated. They’re beating the socks of Disney
This parade is really amazing and I can’t wait to see it in person. It is hard to compete with the night time parade Japan had. If you can find a video of it I suggest everyone watch it. It was one of the best parades I’ve ever seen. The units are much bigger. The Harry Potter unit has a train, a quidditch pitch, the great halls, and plenty of students on and around the floats. The unit even stops to fight dementors.
I loved the parade and I can’t wait to see it in person. Great job as always, Dev! Thanks so much for sharing.

Disney should borrow that "Technica Rehearsal" sign. Now those interactive bubble wands sound like a flat-out nightmare, I can already picture some "adults" activating other bubble wands.
We were there on the 5th and they didn't have the Ghost Buster one come out. It all looks so amazing. I really hope that they plan to bring this back after Christmas. I can't believe they would make these great floats to only have them out for a month and a half. I'm oddly getting to come back next weekend and I so hope to see all of it.

You got the best shots of that parade. I watched someone else’s vlog but yours was better. That dinosaur was great and loved the Jaws float too. Great to see so many watching, I absolutely love their Mardi Gras parade too. Can’t wait to see their theming at Epic Universe, got to be a knockout.
Only thing I didnt see that they should have is a ‘The Mummy’ Float.
Universal hasn’t been disappointing at all lately! I see much more improvements than at Disney’s parks.

I thought the floats were awesome, really well designed and some of my favorite movies. But there was a lot of dead space in between them... also I feel the energy level of the dancers etc was pretty low, but maybe it's because it was a rehearsal? Disney parades are good at filling the space between floats and the energy level is high, hopefully this one can reflect that!

It was in the news awhile ago here in WV that Universal bought the ghostbusters car here to create and use in the parade… so I predict it’s one of the other things maybe missing!!!
i would of liked a monsters one and how to train your dragon would of been good, i would then change the foats around replacing some as they need servicing with other flaots so its always different

Seems underwhelming imo. Lots of empty spaces between floats and just seems like a lot of floats and not enough things going on on them.
Thank you for this footage I feel like you represented the parade truthfully can’t wait for the full-fledged parade I think this would be even better as a sunset parade with lights added

I'm a big time jaws fan that float was amazing, summer of 1997, i was 9 in half years old i saw the mechanical jaws behind studio 18 plus i love the rain also , the parade was so amazing the best

Dev I love that parade. I wish there would have been a Twister float though. I love that movie. We will be there right after Thanksgiving. Hope we get to see it then.
Unfortunately, the Mega Movie parade will be ending in mid-November before Thanksgiving. By that time, the Universal's Holiday Parade will be starting around Thanksgiving.

I am in love with this parade. I’d take the classic attractions back any day. If you’re going to pay tribute though, this is how you do it.

Those floats were beautifully made! I hope they add more and more each year with all their big movie franchises! I hope they can do more floats themed very well for Mardi Gras like they do down in New Orleans for Mardi Gras, that would be so lit! 🔥

This time universal said (kids stay aside this is for the original grown ups parade) finally universal gave us the 80’s and 90’s era 🥲 I remember back in the day disney used to be for kids and universal used to be for teenagers and grown ups but now I don’t know what universal is planning to do (hope epic universe will bring back King Kong and jaws back)
