From his car accident, to opioids, to alcohol, it's actually a miracle Brett is alive...
Seriously, his odds are up there with Kieth Richards, Ozzy, and Josh Gordon.

You can be surrounded by your middle to high class family and friends, having Christmas dinner, one minute you’re at a crack house getting pills, then minutes later you’re with the family having dinner and the crazy part, at least one other person in that group is the same and y’all don’t even know it.

1996 was a bittersweet year for him. He marries his long time girlfriend, goes to rehab, and wins a Super Bowl in New Orleans nearby his Hometown. That’s about as awesome as it gets. So happy he at least won a Super Bowl in the Superdome.

You'd be surprised. I know every day individuals taking 10x that amount every day for years. Millions of dollars worth! I'll tell u what is crazy and harmful about his story is the amount of acetaminophen he ingested! I'm referring to people taking straight oxycodone which they usually take way more mgs of opiates in a day, being how each individual pill is stronger, most common 30mgs, next being 15mgs. Where the highest vicodin ive ever heard of is 10mgs of actual opiates but also has acetaminophen in it. But to circle back, 160 mgs a day (what he was taking). That's child's play in the world of pill addiction. That's 10mgs more then 5- 30 mg oxycodones a day. And I know multiple people who have been 25+ oxy 30's a day.

I'm one of the millions that have become addicted to opioids after a severe neck injury. (17 years taking Hydrocodone)
Good interview, except there is no explanation on how to treat the pain after stopping the pain pills. As a lifelong Packer fan, #4 was my all time favorite player. I even rooted for the Jets & Vikings when Favre was with them. But then he supported lunatic trump and even played golf with him... plus he did this while clean/sober! I then lost my respect for him. That is when his 'Mississippi roots' came to light. I'm now rooting for Mahomes...a class act on the field and off.
