My grandfather lived in Mississippi and was on a waiting list for funds for over two years, he was a WWII veteran, made 600 a month plus 350 a month in veteran money. He was 98 and lived alone. She never denounced him. To denounce means to publicly declare someone/something is bad, wrong or evil. The AG never once said either of those, just that she won't personally represent the Auditor anymore. Reasons being a disagreement that a state Auditor is doing the job of the AG should be doing, which is another can of worms as she did file a lawsuit against the State Auditor for doing his job when she feels it should be her job. A whole other can of worms of lawsuits between the AG and State Auditor. State Auditor is his job title after all; to review expenditures and investigate fraud, waste and abuse of taxpayer funds. Which brings up the proven fact about the Mississippi TANF being misused and handed out to the wrong people back in 2017. The former Exec Director of Mississippi department of Human Services John Davis pleaded guilty to this. He provided federal funds to two nonprofit organizations (MCEC and FRC) and directed them to fraudulently award contracts to companies and individuals for social services. Can find that publication on DOJ's website, office of public affairs published Sept 22 2022. Besides, Favre paying back the money in 2020 doesn't help the people that needed it back in 2017. Adding to that, the main reason the state AG got involved was because Favre missed the deadline to pay back the 200k interest on the 1.1 mill, which has now risen to over 800k. Favre knew the money wasn't good according to the text messages between him and Nancy New, head of MCEC Foundation. He did the deed but now expects not to face consequences when it was found out, feigning ignorance. Now he wants the public to feel sorry for him because of Parkinsons? She never denounced him. To denounce means to publicly declare someone/something is bad, wrong or evil. The AG never once said either of those, just that she won't personally represent the Auditor anymore. Reasons being a disagreement that a state Auditor is doing the job of the AG should be doing, which is another can of worms as she did file a lawsuit against the State Auditor for doing his job when she feels it should be her job.

He provided federal funds to two nonprofit organizations (MCEC and FRC) and directed them to fraudulently award contracts to companies and individuals for social services. Brett Favre is an easy scapegoat. Easy to point the figure at a high profile celebrity. The law will find the truth. If I ask an institution for a grant and then receive that grant. Later they find out that that institution improperly received funds and distributed them out for grants. I should not be held liable. I should return the funds (which Favre did) and go about my business.
