Seems like a terrible investment. If you can't achieve 7%+ profit each year there is no reason to do this instead of just invest in the s&p500. There you actually invest in the economy that has to grow over time because of various factors that are easy to understand. What you invest instead is in plastic.

You will usually find Lego increases by an average of at least 11% more than the average shares.That is just how much they increase every year due to being retired.Most Lego investors sell the sets with a minimum of 70% ROI but in general investors don't sell unless you are doubling your investments. Eg buy set for £50 sell for £130/£140. I agree shares are easier just investing in s&p 500 and long term 10 years plus you will make money and you don't have to sell or do research but just sitting back isn't going to make much money either. I'd rather be in control and my knowledge helps me make the money. Hope that helps.
