I honestly dont understand people who hate on Candice. That woman is a BADASS! She has 3 companies, a baby, a family and her people love her! She fell in love with a guy with a kid and loved him as her own. You know how hard that is? Candice, fuck everyone else! You are an inspiration!

LOL Isabel, you're kidding, right....? She's the most over rated woman on RUclips. She went from a rich dad to a rich husband, been doing "designer" jewelry for YEARS because she isn't the sort to focus with any kind of discipline (her sister is a doctor and Candice resents being compared to her). The jewelry "business" still hasn't gained any value, she let slip in a different interview that after 10 years that she didn't make any money and "at least she doesn't have debt" and later on in that interview there was an awkward silence when the interviewer asked her why she didn't sell the old business before he realized it had no value whatsoever, and she just changed names for a fresh start. But then Casey gets a CNN contract and months later this "independent woman" expands to a bigger more expensive and spacious office. She's so clueless she resents the lifestyle Casey has that earns them all the money and lifestyle that she so freely enjoys. Delusional if she thinks she's a businesswoman, if her dad and husband didn't have money she would have at least been forced to develop a personality, but even then I can't imagine she'd be more than a marginal waitress at best.

To her credit, Casey was broke with a kid when she chose to be with him. She stuck with him all these years even though he admits to being emotionally distant with her at times and she did buy their first house, so no she wasn't with him for the money.

Well I don't know Candice personally, and neither do you. But I think you overlooked many significant points. Candice and Casey were together long before Casey became succesfull. Yes, they only got married about 4 years ago when I assume he already had quite a good income. But you have to realise that the regular income correlated with a regular life. I think that Casey is quite difficult to live with; he's a true workaholic, very disciplined but also all over the place and chaotic. Candice probably wanted stability and was willing to wait for that until they fully commited. And do you have any idea how long it takes for any business to be profitable?? To start a business, you need loans. And in the beginning, it will certainly run very low, at best cover the daily expenses like wages, rent etc. For the first couple of years, all you do is pay off debt. 10 years is long, however I would be interested in the interview where she said that. 5 years until profitable is not unusual. And noone has that sort of money lying around to easily start a new company, not even her parents or Casey. Certainly, because of them she would have gotten a loan on very conditions, but still. A loan makes you indebted.

100% do a podcast. One thing I loved about the vlogs was when you and candance would talk about your relationship or seeing you guys together. It was around the time my wife and I were engaged and getting married and I saw a ton of similarities. So it was super relatable.

A lot of hate in the comments for candice. If you have watched Casey for a long time before his vlogs blew up... candice is kind and patient and fun and puts up with a lot from Casey. So what she doesn't smile on camera all the time. Remember she's around Casey 24/7 with his camera. You judging her for seeing her on camera for 2 minutes is ridiculous. Candice keep being you.

Anyone who was here before this whole youtube vlog thing blew up knows that Candice is the most patient and spontaneous partner. I mean she has to be in order to have been so long with this guy. Candice is just busy fulfilling her life and taking care of a baby to be on every time the camera is out. pretty simple. all the teenage boys who have too much to say don't know what a legit relationship looks like and how much work it is to fight for one and to share your life with another person

I caught the vlog released today. This comment is for Candice in response to how she is impacted by people’s negative comments regarding her behavior or attitude. Candice please know and take to heart, not everyone understands what it takes to run a business, raise a baby, be in the public eye and have a mate with boundless energy. It’s exhausting, unless you were the same type of person as Casey. However, if you were, the two of you would drive each other crazy. It is the differences in your personalities that provide a balance to your relationship. There will always be people that feel they have the right to pass judgement or to determine how your behavior should be. The world is privy to a nano fraction of your life which is certainly not enough to get to know who you are. What I have seen, is a loving mother and a supportive wife. Qualities that are waning in a very self absorbed society. Keep up the good work.

This is a reply to Candice. You do NOT come across as bitchy or anything negative. You come across in Casey's videos as passionate about, Casey, Francine, Family, Work, Finn, Billy!, Life, and all the craziness that goes with it. It constantly amazes me that you do all this despite of and because of Casey's mad genius. Watch his video's long enough and his love for you and family comes through as the power that drives his life. They say that behind every great man is a woman. I say, behind Casey's genius is their is a far more powerful woman with which Casey knows he can't live without. Bless you both Always.

    • @masha7377

No?! Do any of you actually know the true value of cashmere? Yes, you can get a chashmere jumper for under 100$, but that will be of very low quality and will get holes very quickly because the individual hairs just aren't as long. For really good cashmere, the goats aren't shaven for several years so that their fur becomes very thick and silky. If you get cheap cashmere, the goats are probably shaven multiple times per season and they are kept under very bad conditions in stables. For good cashmere, the goats walk around in the mountains and eat only herbs which reflects directly in the fur. If you're not willing or able to pay that much for a jumper, that's very understanable, but you won't get the same quality.
Oh yeah and the profit margin is usually much bigger on cheap clothing than on expensive clothing btw.

CASEY & CANDICE -- PATTI SMITH SAID IT BEST --> “New York has closed itself off to the young and the struggling. But there are other cities. Detroit. Poughkeepsie. New York City has been taken away from you. So my advice is: Find a new city.”
I moved to Phoenix, AZ a few months ago after 10 years in NYC. NYC is dead. Get out. Go be in the sun. Have fun. Find space. Breathe. It's soooooooo amazing outside of NYC. It's always there. I absolutely love the movie you made with Chantel, Casey! I've watched quite a lot of RUclips videos over the years and you are the only RUclipsr so far that I instantly subscribe (without you asking) when I first stumbled across one of your videos last month. Content and personality speak for itself! Love your work and style - please make more movies!! :)

Excellent episode! I love that it's about more than one topic. In that respect its a bit like a newscast: a bit about what's going on in Casey and Candice's personal life; a bit about his little dealie for removing mobile phone SIM cards; and a longer feature introducing Shantell and premiering the Sammy-sponsored film about her work and her creative process). Good stuff! I especially enjoyed the bit in the film where Shantell was repurposing the piano as a piece of functional 3-D art.
P.S. 01:44 Candice: "I feel like we need another hour just on that topic.". Of course you need another hour. You probably need several more hours of discussion, between the two of you, to sort out your individual feelings on whatever topic you were discussing with the therapist. The point of couples therapy is not to solve each of your problems in a single hour. It's intended to establish a conversational framework and ground rules that will enable the two of you to discuss your relationship issues on your own time like mature, loving partners, without screaming, or tears, or throwing things.

I can see why most people who have an opinion of Casey sharing some not so pretty things about their marriage on the internet are against it, but after seeing so many youtubers and people on facebook paint a false image of "our marriage and family unit is perfect" I find it somewhat refreshing that they are being so real that their marriage has flaws and needs work. Examples of youtube couples who paint an unrealist picture are: Daily Bumps, Steps to Wonder, Ellie and Jared, and SlyFox family (in my opinion) just to name a few. Most of their audience are children too which is sad because it is teaching a false expectation that a great marriage is always sunshine and rainbows. Some people will look at these "perfect" marriages and start comparing themselves and think their relationship is shit because it looks different and isn't so easy. Casey and Candice are just being real showing that sometimes you don't like your spouse and you have to put in effort to stay together. So, I applaud them for being different than most people on social media by showing what a real marriage looks like. In my 10 years of marriage to my best friend, my husband and I have had to do therapy more than once, and our married friends found it refreshing to know we had to work at it like they do and that we aren't perfect like they assumed. Also, alot of youtube couples who only painted the "sunshine and rainbows" broke up (like Jesse and Jenna and Charles Trippy and Ally) because it put alot of pressure on them and they weren't being true to themselves. I think it is probably healthier for Casey and Candice's relationship that they are being real and transparent about their problems to a degree.

Or perhaps they don’t wanna air their dirty laundry on RUclips for little kids. How does people acting happy give kids a “false expectation of marriage” they shouldn’t be viewing RUclips and entertainment media as real life anyways and if their parents haven’t had that talk with them before letting them watch RUclips that’s on them.

Kaka Pepe I didn't say acting happy was a problem geez! I said acting like everything is always perfect is. That it paints an unrealistic picture. I do think it is unhealthy when kids and adults that watch these channels write comments like "I wish you were my parents" "please adopt me" "Your family is perfect. I am jealous" when NO FAMILY OR MARRIAGE IS PERFECT. Also..how are daily vlogs not real life? So, they aren't filming their real lives and only showing the good parts?

Candice . my guess is the silent majority respect who you are and what you do.. You handle being married to a famous youtuber with tolerance and humour. The camera must feel like a third entity in your marriage sometimes . It can't be easy. Yet you don't pander to the haters or the lens. It shows through clearly that you are your own person and that the two of you are equal partners holding hands and enjoying what ever life brings you next. What I like most about this channel is the balance between slick production and keeping it real. No cheap shots. No painted on painful to watch smiles. I can't presume to really know you or your world but as a Father and a Husband I feel an affinity with all the nonsense, the fun and the challenges. The only thing I watch that comes even close is the Delos sailing vlog. We are the first connected generation and the revolution is just beginning. There are no rules and the social landscape is still primordial. It is fascinating to watch it evolve and you guys are on the crest of that leading wave, riding it with rare class!

    • @billete37
      @billete37 6 лет назад +1

cheetah fun fact: its easier to run than it is to go up stairs, reason: your muscles require oxygen relative to their work both resting and during work, unlike running climbing stairs requires our legs to constantly do short range of motion squats in quick succession without adequate rest to absorb more oxygen from the blood. Your muscles then become O2 deficient making one feel out of breath. Running is different in that every step allows for more time for your legs to get rest and retrieve O2 from the blood, the time between steps (load and unloading) is greater during a jog or run and while on the stairs the body has to make many more steps without rest.

There is always a confusion when it comes to art that it is about skill. Art has nothing to do with skill. It's about beauty, its about making something that appeals to the eye and makes you feel something. Yes, some things can be beautiful because they are made with intricate skill. But other simple drawings are beautiful. Her work is beautiful to my eye, therefore it is art. If your five year old can make doodles that are this appealing to the eye then they are an artist, celebrate them!
