    A flaw in your analysis though Nick is that, like last year, you assume that for some reason, the Nuggets can’t win games on the road, can’t win against the Lakers at home, said the same thing last year and they took two in LA to sweep ‘em. That’s just devoid in any logic aside from faith in LeBron. The nuggets are the defending champs and have gone through many varied playoff battles, they’ve seen a lot

  • @alexandersnow1963
    @alexandersnow1963 Месяц назад +1

    I think that people who say the Lakers will could win it all fail to grasp why they’re down 2-0 to begin with. It’s really simple, their 2 best players are old (AD has an old body for his age given injury history). Even if they can win 4 of the next 5, the amount of energy they are going to have to spend to do that is something they simply can’t sustain for another 3 series. They are gassed against the Nuggets by 1/2 way through the 3rd quarter. Their next opponent would be a young Minnesota team, who is even more physical, or a Phoenix team that they can’t guard. Their reward for that would likely be the youngest team in the league or Dallas. And at the end of all that they will get Boston, a team who is just slightly older than OKC, all while playing every other day. That’s a tall ask for a team that relies on 2 older stars who get winded by a half of play. It doesn’t matter if they beat Denver, they don’t have the energy to win it all. That’s simply the truth

    If the Lakers play any other team, they stomp them. It’s over at halftime. I turned it off and went to bed. I turned it back on w two minutes left.

    Lebron did play great, but can’t we also acknowledge that he blew it missing that shot? When Steph or Jimmy butler play great and miss a shot at the end (ie game 7 ECF 2022) we rightly acknowledge they messed up. Let’s just acknowledge the same for lebron

    I still say part of the problem is the head coach. The pick and roll with LeBron and AD was killing Denver and yet the Lakers stop doing it. His in game decision making is horrible or non exiting.

    I am nuggets fan, but if lakers just go to AD in the post every play in the second half, they win by 15 points. They stopped doing everything that worked, and just went to iso ball.

    • @Champs-gd7je

      I honestly don’t think so bc Lebron and AD were gassed, they were not going to be able to sustain that much on ball action for the remainder of the game. They wore down and the Nuggets superior conditioning took over.

    • @Pipsqueak-

      AD going to the bench in foul trouble was the turning point. Allowed Jokic to score at will while AD lost his rhythm on offense. Also made him more passive on defense

    Thank you Nick, now that Lebron is passing the torch who is going to be the tv media analyst that will support Jokic all the way through his championships, Jordan era it was Ahmad Rashad, Lebron it was Windhorst and yourself, who is going to be the Joker guy, there is non prominent tv media analyst yet, vacant is still there and it´s still early for all the upcoming accolades. Just saying.

    Suggesting the Lakers punt games in a playoff series if they would have won last night, when they’ve lost 10 straight to Denver is an insane take ngl. The Lakers just can’t beat the Nuggets and are in 0 position to be punting anything. Even with a win last night, the idea they can pick and choose when to beat the Nuggets is nonsensical.
