Thank you so much for your kind comments, I was definitely in my element there and could have stay there all day, (not sure Stephen would have let me🤭)
Woah that is a myriad of shrooms! I've never seen most of these fungi especially the fly Agaric! Said to be what Santa's reindeer ate - hallucinogenic properties made them prance - hence where they can "fly" comes from. Wondrous pics, especially the solos! In addition to fun to watch, I always learn something. Thanks guys.
Thanks for watching😊 I was in my element hunting for them all and photographing them, there were just so many! I didn't know that about Santa's reindeer 😂
you guys are so talented!! Love all the information about mushrooms...but makes me think...who figured out the bad mushrooms and what happened to them!
Thank you so much for your kind comments, we are so glad you are enjoying our videos. Sorry we weren't better at identifying them, there were just so many 😂 Does make you wonder, we definitely didn't risk trying any 😂
You two both have great skills with photography. I love the wider shots of the forest as well as macro photos. It makes me feel as though I want to be walking right there with you and Teddy. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much for your kind comments. Photography is a strong passion for both of us, we are planning some more photography based videos very soon, hopefully sharing a few tips too. Thanks for watching 💕
Beautiful photography. Are you two planning on doing a book of nature photograph? If not you might want to try it. Enjoyed this video surrounded by God's creations.
Thank you Ann. We've made calendars of our work before, but never a book. Definitely something to consider. So glad you enjoyed our video about mushrooms 😊
@@StephenandClaire Blue oyster, yellow oyster, pink oyster, and lion's mane so far. On tap though is golden enoki, tarragon oyster (apparently from England) and wine cap. There's SO MANY to choose from, it's difficult to limit myself to a realistic amount at one time! I do for sure want to try growing shiitake on logs next year, but they take quite a long time to colonize and then grow, so it's a lesson in patience! My interest currently is edible mushrooms, but who knows what will happen over time lol.
Peggy is snoozing for the winter. The roads will start to get salty soon and that could increase the risk of rust, so she's having a well-deserved break!

I grow mushrooms at home, so this is right up my alley! :)
Yay, awesome! What varieties do you grow?

Are you no longer working at Mapperton? Just curious
Where is Peggy?
