thanks for that, really enjoyed it...... however..... the reason for oil being warmed up is not about the temperature, it's about the sediments being circulated (moved of the flat surfaces in the engine where they tend to rest). that's why best thing to do before the oil change is going for a proper ride, going through the gears and making sure that all of the aluminium bits and clutch bits are swimming in it, before you fill your weapon with the fresh and delicious oil

I agree - drop the oil when the engine is cold. All the oil is already drained into the sump.

Funny what bike addicts find entertaining! I enjoy watching your videos. Subscribed and like. Boxflyer, in the U.S., has a lot of diy videos for the 1200 boxer engine. I'll start doing my own valve maintenance now. Cheers Old Mechanic!

Nice and detailed video Old Mechanic. Looking forward to more such videos. One question I have for you is, don't we have to fill oil in the new oil filter before installing it?

Hi thank you for all the great information. You have saved me hundreds of dollars. Question what coolant do you use on your tiger 800xrt? Thanks Christopher

Well I changed the oil on my motorcycle getting it ready for the summer here. Because of you I looked at the bike and began lubricating other parts I would have never done. Even did the kickstand. Thank you so much for the videos. Where can I support the channel? Again thank you for the videos. Love them.

Hi sir, i have one question my mechanic had put a 15w 50 grade oil instead of 10w 40 in my tiger xrx, he said that will be ok, what do you suggest, should i remove it or let the bike run on it ?

Hi there! I have a 2016 Tiger XRT. Could you make a video on how to remove all the plastics from the bike? There is no video on youtube about that for the 2015-2017 models like yours .
