Excellent answer on the insurance question. There are SO many variables for homeowners insurance. We close this week in a newer section! 🎉 we got a pretty good discount on our HO policy for the wind mitigation (something to do with the rafters), so like you said, make sure you are comparing apples to apples. Great video per usual!

I agree completely with your comment to leave wild animals alone. Spoke to a Sheriffs officer and said alligators that aren’t afraid of people from illegal feeding are not moved to another area they are put down.
Very sad consequence for a picture.

Hi Debbie & Jan. Enjoy the Q&A. Do you know why the herd of buffaloes that used to live in The Villages had to be moved? I think this happened several years ago.
PS: I had just under one inch of snow on the ground at my home on Halloween afternoon in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. It did melt the next day. See what you are missing. 😂❄️⛄️

Hi Laura! The “lore” is that people fed the buffalo and one of the buffalo ended up biting a child trying to feed it. It has always sounded very plausible.
Yes, my poor granddaughter was trick or treating as her hat was blowing off and she was blinded by snow! Not a fun year! Have a great day!

Are you referring to Fenney as the whole southern area? If you are you will confuse people. Fenney is a Village and there are about 15 to 20 other Villages in the southern section.
Also, if people feed gators they will not be afraid of people and there would be more alligator attacks.

I was referring to Fenney Grill. I think I mentioned they have some tables and a musician that we were listening to. Hope that clears that up!
You are correct on the gators. We have already had a big guy removed from his pond here sadly for that very reason. That said, you can also be fined.
      Thanks for watching Judy!

Hi guys. Nice interview video. Are you sure about requiring catch and release for fishing? I was under the impression that many do release, it was not a requirement. Thanks

Thank you Kate! There are some spots that specifically say catch and release. I just double checked The Villages fishing guidelines and you are right it says encouraged. So there may be some spots that it is not required to release. Thanks for the double check!

Bible says God will feed the birds. John 6:26. I'm sure He will feed the gators also 😊
