Mountains, rivers, ocean....I'm in awe of the beauty of Victoria. Great, relaxing video.....the scenery was beautiful and the music a perfect addition. Wild pigs, wombats and kangaroos...seems so exotic to this inhabitant of the U.S. state of Maryland! Great video, I enjoyed that!

Thanks so much for taking the time to watch and leaving such a lovely comment again :)
There’s certainly lots to see down here, a very diverse landscape! It’s great to get out there and explore; it’s definitely my happy place 😍
Have you got any vids coming up?

I enjoyed the hike from beginning to end. Loved the animals at the beginning… especially the donkey. Great views & scenery along the way. That was more elevated than I thought it would be. Great view of the mountains. We only do flat trails during the summer because Riggs gets too hot & tired. Fall & Winter we get to climb more. Anyway, thanks for letting us tag along & chatting with us. See you next time!

Oh wow, what a lovely comment, thankyou so much :) we really appreciate your support!
Poor Riggs, aging is tough :( I don’t take Zeus on the longer, steeler walks either because he’s getting in in years too :(

very peaceful, thank you. Those view at the end are pretty cool. The victorian wilderness is brilliant, I wish it was maybe 5 hours closer so I could duck out for an overnighter more often. So much to see. Thanks for sharing 🙂

I feel the same about NSW! So many gorgeous spots to explore but all just out of reach :) thanks again!

Thanks for the mention. Glad it helped. I spent so much time getting water in and out of the bottle holder and having it right there and ready is a revelation. I agree those Velcro straps are difficult to set. It took me a while to get that working I’ll show how I have done that in my next video.
I had the same problem with my hat hitting my pack. Your pack does seem to be very high. Are you wearing it too high on your hips? I could not quite tell. Have you checked with the retailer how you have set it up? Failing that it might be your pack is too full but it’s quite an investment getting compact gear.
Finding the right location for camp is often a struggle. Going further off track might be the answer but you need confidence in your navigation. Have you done a course? It does wonders for your skills and confidence.
It looked like a lovely walk. I must go down to Victoria for a hike. I grew up in Melbourne and the country is quite different to around Sydney.
Thanks for sharing your trip with us.

Ooh I look forward to your next video; I fiddled with the Velcro in the bottle holder but couldn’t get it to stick. I’m sure there’s a trick I’m missing.
My pack is high isn’t it. I had it fitted and it’s comfie; I think I just cram too much gear in the head. I’m working on reducing my gear and weight, but it’s so hard to chose what I leave behind lol
Yes Vic is lovely in parts but I’m very envious of your parks and remote river / creek areas.
I did do some navigation training in the Army Reserves once upon a time; it probably wouldn’t hurt me to do some kind of training now though, because navigation definitely isnt a strong point. Are there any courses you’d recommend?
      Thanks again :)
