RIGHT!! I love how I will have different plants blooming in that area in summer so it is not just depends on roses. 😚 And hibiscus just looking soooo good. I also have Caladium there so it will totally look different soon.
A very lovely flower garden! I’ve never liked roses that much, but your garden makes me want to get some. L O L The rose emporium is not far from where I live, and I have bought other plants from them, but not many roses. The last one I bought from them was a found rose, so didn’t have a name yet, and it was a gorgeous yellow, but you could not get near the plant for all the thorns. I found your channel because of searching for the Arbico beneficial nematodes application. Mine will be in the mail today and even though we’re very gray and dreary today (between 30 and 40°), I guess I will apply them today or tomorrow. I did not see an update on the beneficial nematodes video you did, and wondered about how that worked for you. Please let me know. And, what time of year did you apply them? Have a blessed day!😊
Your rose garden is doing well and Abraham looks so pretty! I have 2 but they don't fare well--spindly and barely produce any decent blooms :(. Perhaps I will move them to a sunnier spot since you said they do well under the hot weather!
Abraham Darby takes time to establish. In fact, after I planted it into the ground in spring, I restrict myself from watering it on purpose because I want its roots to grow deep into the ground to search for water. This way, they will be able to grow stronger root and the bloom can hold up better under the sun and heat. Of course, I also think it is important to mulch to help retain the moisture under the hot sun.
I love Dusty Miller in there as well. I also used them as companion green when I am making flower arrangements. I used to grow white gaura and pink Gaura at the same time. I find that pink Gaura is bushier and not as tall as white Gaura. So, I prefer pink Gaura for sure.
I avoided Pompon Veranda because I heard the blooms did really poorly in wet areas, yours looks amazing! So you’d recommend it? It’s going back on my GET list!
Definitely recommend it!! I mean I have 95 and rain everyday for a week now. Still looking gorgeous! I think the reason why it balls is because of thrips. Now it has no thrips, it opened up just fine.
Can’t wait for the video about what to do for blackspot . Thanks Seng!
Coming soon. 😆
Thank you for sharing your knowledge of roses and gardening! Your flowers are beautiful!

What are the beautiful blue / purplish flowers called?
That is Sallyfun Deep Ocean Salvia.
Beautiful garden. May I know where you bought Chippendale rose? Thank you
Thank you! I got my Chippendale from the eplantsireland.com. It was shipped all the way from Ireland to US. 😊
I like the Dusty Miller as fill-in, it helps to highlight the Roses! :) I think your Guara is fantastic, will it reach out like the white Guara does?
