DRONESCAPE: Graffitied Sky Scrapers, Los Angeles...
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 1 фев 2024
- This dronescape features three skyscrapers bombed by a range of graffiti artists; about 40 stories high in Downtown Los Angeles. Construction was halted without a projected completion date; due to corruption of ex-LA councilman Jose Huizar on racketeering charges. In addition with financial issues in relations to current geopolitical tensions between USA & China. This scene has become a spectacle in the city with onlookers dazed; toward the sky.
LA artist highlight and educate the public within the week of Jose Huizar's prison sentence and that corruption in LA is rampant.

The news media FAILED. You captured this event. Thank You The Artery, Los Angeles.
This has constantly been ALL OVER the news on all channels. You'd think it was L.A.'s biggest problem.
I'm grateful to serve history.
@@ranchodelreyband167the media did not capture it like this. Only ground view.
@@Nottotv No. This one Fox11 report alone had arial close-ups and even on the balcony footage with the taggers doing it. That's like one foot away. All the channels had similar coverage, just not 18 minutes long like this video. SO they didn't get EVERY piece that was done? Hardly a failure. ruclips.net/video/zFmb3RgV4_o/видео.htmlsi=fitBhIJKNcPchWxg
This is going in the graff archives for sure. Generations of artist will re-watch this like we did watching art grow from the 80’s to present day.
not rly, these r just names, not even ''pieces''
would love to see new york get one of these popping because the LA straight letter styles look so toy this aint the art basel crowd this time...
@@mikeking245that’s the point getting your name out there
Sometimes it’s not about how good you are it’s about getting up
LA’s 5 points
Kind of a defining moment in LA graffiti history. Use it or lose it to art in this instance.
@@Whocares144property??? These are wealthy investors that do not give a fuck about my city of my people..WE DO NOT GIVE 2 FUKS ABOUT THEM😂😂😂
@growthasist6291 Be mad the developers that abandoned this eyesore of a building. Be mad at LA city for not taking over and making it into something usable.
BEAUTIFUL
I totally agree because graffiti is one of the arts of Los Angeles. I think something big is going to become of this.
I'm pleased these artists illuminated the transformation of this scandalous real estate project. If you find it unsightly, let's leverage it for good. The art sheds light on the corruption overshadowing LA city politics. For years, people passed by, expecting a beautiful building, unaware that developers ran out of money, leaving this mess visible but overlooked. Kudos to these artists for bringing attention to it.
yeah they def put eyes on it and hopefully it puts pressure on the city to do something about that building just sitting there abandoned for so many years.. drone shots of the building in 4k on our channel now.
Can they go and paint your home???? Would that be okay????
relax william@@williamkirby8092
It did none of that. They will steal even more mkney saying it's to fix this and to minimize crime and they will become richer. This did nothing
I hope someone can make this to a poster
Facts
Next John Wick V
I will buy that poster!❤ 🎨
They will make a book and a movie about this!❤
😂
So ill! They murdered those sky scrapers 🔥🔥🔥'
But it So does Portray LA though
Don’t ever say ill
They were already dead
That shit beez bussin', no cap. Fureel doe that's some lit fire. Illmatic. 🤒
I recognize a lot of these names… a lot of them are writers from other states.
This is so powerful.
Powerful? I guess we have different definitions of the word 'Powerful' then. When I read someones name in graffiti, I think, there is someone with so little in this world that all they have is the ability to scrawl their name on a wall. For me it invokes a feeling of pity for them - lost souls desperately scrawling their name, in as big letters as their paint budget allows, and meekly saying "please notice this, because it's all I have".
But to you, you see this as poweful? Interesting. I'd like to hear how you reach that conclusion.
@@michaelc3977 maybe he meant powerful when they focus on something together, like they are able to paint houndreds of floors in few days. But i dont understand if u hate it or like it, but sometimes yes - its all what they have. but i dont see a problem in this, i love it, i love imagiing my own character behind every name.
@@michaelc3977 Marking the abandoned towers that are tied to councilmember and confessed racketeer Jose Huizar's corrupt sale of land use votes in Downtown Los Angeles with the bright signatures of creative people sends a message we find powerful. This joker chased the artists out of the Arts District and was a major contributor to the housing use crisis making it so hard for everyone to survive in L.A. We just came from the site--you can see the tags from a long way away. The effect is that a blighted development that had blended into the surrounding towers can no longer be ignored, and City Council has even initiated a motion to force the owner to secure and clean it. Good luck getting the owner to pay to demolish it, which is necessary because it can't be occupied after years open to the elements, but it's something.
yep it shows what preparation meeting talent can do
@@michaelc3977 You are the type of person who only thinks money is power.
That is ART! Wow, thanks for filming this to give us such a close look. Well done
This needs to be converted to a book or magazine. Would love to see a large still photo of each name. Give these writers their props.
Can we get more updated footage? There’s added work. All looks dope
updated footage from yesterday up on our page in 4k
Coming soon!
Hey would it be dope if they painted on your house walls? Be honest
@@williamkirby8092except this wasn’t anyone’s house. it’s been sitting abandoned for years. most taggers have enough common sense not to tag up someone’s personal car or house. you should use an actual comparable analogy next time because you failed this time
@@e92e36 oh so your small mind is trying to say tagger scum have a code of honor?
Looks Dope
The need for artistic expression to the public has been in our DNA since the dawn of time. Can't stop. Won't stop. Awesome vid!
To fix that up and kept the art it would be so bad ass to live there
right?! like a graffiti museum or something along those lines.
I'd wanna be able to see out my window if I lived there lol
hell yeah heard about this on the news cant wait to see the footage, this is becoming the dopest spot to do a piece in LA
those buildings look much better now 😂
It actually looks nice. It looks like Graffiti Convention. Every graffiti is by somebody else. Goes with Downtown LA. I would finish tagging the last building, and leave it there as piece of Art. Btw: Nice footage!
right next to the convention center too haha
I would LITERALLY PAAAAAY TO LIVE IN THIS BUILDING AS IS....ilove this!!!
right they should turn it into something for sure @@DurgaUsagi
The GREATEST art movement the world has ever seen.
Beautiful
I could only imagine how beat the fuck up it is in the inside of these buildings

Excellent footage. Well done.
Amazing art 🔥🔥
I can't do heights but hats off to all the artists iconic made history
THANK YOU!!!!
Nice pilot skills ! Lol flying that drone perfectly ! 👌🏻
That’s riiiiight 💪🏼
Actually kinda sweet !!
This look badass... I encourage them to do more
This is so relaxing.
I was there last night. That was one of the most surreal things I’ve been through in a while. Everyone circling the block trying to get in no fucks given on one face that walked by me. Got to see SAVIE piece up start to finish. Every crew was on a mission. I was there during the shots too I hope bro made it to the hospital they aired him out. Legendary shit.
Everybody got up! Dope.
❤️🔥Love & Respect🔥
Thank you for your service
I thought i was going to see CHAKA on that Building 😂
He’s old now haha but that would be dope
OTR is up, Chaka is in OTR
@@Collie4Nyahthat's right!
He's in rehab. No access to internet or social media.
I grew up in ny in the 70-80’s and watched it all grow in the Bronx. Seeing this warms my heart.
Love it. Artists' imaginations are limitless. If I could I'd buy the property and leave it as is.
Art 🔥
Beautiful stuff thank you for the video. It would be cool to see all of the floors on the inside all the graffiti they did inside the building as well, but that would be trespassing.
Beautiful stuff it would be nice to see artist from other countries.. getting up. here
"Newsom for President"
Now that's funny.
It will be funny listening to you cry after he wins

No. Ugly! Graffiti is crime! 🤬
Sick…🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Ayeee ayyye 💣💯💯💯🤯
People are more mad about the art than they are the abandoned high rises. Idiotic.
as long as the Idiots that spray painted it pay to have their mess all cleaned up I guess it's ok
@@cardboardboxificationIt’s a giant piece of garbage. No one cares if they painted it. How much money is being spent to watch and protect a Chinese billionaires garbage?
@@cardboardboxification so you hate the idea of colorful letters and culture on a wall more than the fact that those buildings have been abandoned for years just wasting space and nobody talking anything about it? like the entire LA homeless situation could nearly be solved if they put them in to those buildings.
Value added service.
The NCT piece looks like it is an actual part of the building. Thats awesome!
nct goes crazy oh gee graff crew
NCT... They are talented people! 10/10

We need this in book format ASAP. This has to be the best thing after Subway Art for sure. No one does it like L.A. does it. 🤟

Great art 🔥 hope to see some old english letters up there soon!
Introducing the new art building in LA, expressive and impressive. Id take an art class there.

Soooo captivating. These images are unmatched
Classic Cali
L.A. has always been trend setters. Here in the Southwest writers get a lot of inspiration from the L.A. graff scene. Been like that since the early 90’s from what I recall.
Nice canvas
THEY DID A REALLY NICE JOB. I WISH THE CITY WOULD DO MORE FOR THESE TALENTED MEN AND WOMEN.
I still cant believe Shaq and Kobe and Kobe and Pau won titles across the street from this.
LA has finally matched Miami's energy with the building that was painted during Art Basel this year. 👏💯
It was mainly LA writers on that building in Miami 😂

Shout out to whoever went out on the ledge and put that work in in the green fill in. Beast.

I hope someone can make a miniature 3D model
awesome shots i also got some in 4k up on our page. keep it up!
This footage literally goes with any music genre. Give it a try
I like these type of videos without all the music. Just let the art speak for itself. No obnoxious music taking away from the art which is what we are all here for anyways.
Primo.
A generational icon. hoping these pieces ride for at least another few months. This is American graffiti at its core
WOW OCP man a lot of familiar names
I hope the New Yorkers don’t bite this shit , y’all killed it
