How to apply a face self tanner using a natural, non pore-clogging tanner in a simple step by step tutorial.
Getting a streak-free tan without looking like an orange oompa loompa can be difficult. That's why we've created this step by step tutorial to teach you how to use a self tanner on your face giving you the perfect natural looking glow.
Start by cleansing and exfoliating your face, trust me, this step is important. It will make your tan last even longer.
Next, go to the freezer and get an ice cube. Rub it all around your face to close up all your pores. It will give you great self tanning results!
Next, pick a tanner that will not clog pores or create your face to break out. The Beauty By Earth self tanner is non-comedogenic and a great option as it contains no harmful or chemical ingredients, such as St. Tropez and Jergens.
Apply the self tanner with your hand, a makeup brush or a self tanning mitt. We recommend the mitt for a more even application. Apply it all of your face, up to your hair line, your neck, your chest and around your ears. Keep blending until fully absorbed. The more you blend, the more even your tan will be.
Give yourself 10-15 minutes before applying any makeup. It will take 4-6 hours for your tan to develop. This tanner does not stain sheets, pillow case or clothing, so feel free to apply it before bed time!
Lastly to keep your golden glow lasting longer, keep your skin moisturized. Your face does exfoliate naturally more than the rest of your body, so you will need to re-apply every 4-6 days.

I always read that you're not supposed to apply near your eyes. What does that mean? Does that mean not to put on eyelids? what is the "area around eyes" exactly. Thx
