Really proud of GRV for stepping outside of their comfort zone more and more. Different choreographers than the usual main 5, transition switches, partners, texture changes, trying new styles, more cohesive performances overall hailzyuss!
Yeah, it was a nice change. A few of their older sets were just Choreo -> walk off transition and repeat. The one thing I absolutely hate about these type of sets are boring transitions, they stepped up this time around and the different style of choreo was cool too with of course their heavy hitters from Bam and Jawn sprinkled in.
Tbh, I was kind of hoping that GRV would do something different because their sets were always the same... AND THEY DID IT. THIS SET WAS BEYOND WHAT I HAD EXPECTED FROM THEM! I loved how they finally changed things up a bit. They got me with "I'm in Luv with a Stripper" LOL. They deserved that place and I'm so glad this was something new. Great job GRV!!

Does anybody notice sorah yang's huge smile right before sail comes on lol I crack up every time I watch that part because she knows she about to kill it!! Those hard punches she throws at the end makes me jump up everytime. Looooove her!!!

This competition showed the more artistic and storytelling side of hip-hop rather than a bunch of hype. I will say that the crowd was overhyping in the beginning. I couldn't even hear when I was there and they JUST started. It's all good though. Good job to everyone.

COMMENT 2: Out of curiosity I watched 1st place. I felt it was too much to keep up with & too many "blanket" prop. Make me a lil dizzy. Couldnt tell if any mistakes were made since there was so many dancers on stage @ once. But I believe their concept & theme was touching & probably got them the win. Just my opinion, and I'm definitely not an expert, but your team was way tighter & cleaner. I think AGT needs a strong dance crew to win $100,000,000 and I believe you can go all the way. You guys kick ass & are AWSOME!!
There were no mistakes, I saw one part where it looked like it was almost a mistake but the dude covered it up well. This was a great routine too but I did detect about 3 stumbles either in choreography or formations. Concept & theme are definitely important, but in order for those to mean anything you have to have execution which they did perfectly because they were able to properly project their message through their routine. Of course this routine was awesome also, but I didn't get those "shivers" nor did it make me smile the way Cookies did so I can understand why GRV got 2nd. Super dope moves/sets are great, but the moment you attach it to a unique concept/theme, it becomes truly amazing.
Ray K I agree they don't NEED AGT, AGT needs them.....I enjoy all dance & get that live is a very different feel. But my opinion is Cookies was too much to see at once. I don't disagree or agree. Maybe sometime I'll be able to see it live & can debate better and yes its always the judges decision. Alden Bunag I am not a dancer, wish I was. But I have always enjoyed watching & observing, so technically I can comment but as an observer I feel different. I'm not saying Cookies weren't good, they definitely were, but I feel the concept of an orphanage is what pulled them through. Abondoned kds make the heart melt, very smart move. Everyone's different & see's differently. Keep dancing 👍 thats really awsome
GVR is an AWSOME crew and I can't take anything away from them AT ALL , but Markus Pe Benito is a MUTHAFUCKIN GENIUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This set has his name written all over it! Dope as fuck!
