Autumn Colours #2

Following on from last weeks painting I wanted to reverse the colours and start with green against the gold. I thought the colours worked well with the white in between to give gradients of colour as the paint was blown out. The second painting was purely to see how the colours worked as a standard Dutch pour. The base wasn’t as grey as I’d hoped, I mixed an Amsterdam blue grey base and didn’t add enough black to darken it. I’ll try this again another time. But really love how they turned out, can’t wait for them to dry, which is taking longer as it’s getting colder here in the UK and my garage isn’t exactly insulated!
