Hi,
Welcome to my channel and thank you for taking the time to visit and view my videos. I’ve been into art my whole life, but after university didn’t really paint much, if at all, and recently picked it back up again in January 2021. I’ve been mastering the Dutch pour technique or fluid art, as it’s called and I enjoyed the freedom of the paint and how abstract it is. I’m beginning to find my own feet after watching several artists for the last couple of years and feel comfortable enough to do my own style and not replicate other works I’ve seen. That’s hard to do because the work of other people, gives you inspiration!

Here is my Timelapse video of Terracotta and Teal! I love this colour combination!
This is my fourth split base creation and the base colours used this time Windsor & Newton’s Pale Terracotta. Again I used the same colour for both sides but lightened up one part by adding 35% of white paint to create a lighter tone.
All paints are mixed with European Owatrol Floetrol and water. I use a ratio of 2 parts floetrol to 1 part paint and 1 part water. This mixture works for me and the effects I want to create.

Second painting of the day after a 6 week break. This time I chose kingfisher colours, but got my base paints mixed up and was supposed to pour onto the powder blue base, not the Pale Violet!
