Its a weaker, more flexible Attack Titan. It's got greater agility as well. It can also call Pure Titans unlike the Attack.. really, they're super similar yes, but they specialize in different way.
They both specialize in versatility, but they still excell in different areas. The Attack Titan is stronger, has better healing and endurance, and obviously has the OP ability to see the future. The Female Titan is slightly faster, more agile, and it can copy the other titan powers, but to a weaker degree. But I would say that both titans are only as great as they are because they're both operated by two people who are absolute phenoms in hand to hand combat.
i always thought the female titans ability was versatile. Whatever she eats she gets some of that power. And i think that makes sense. Kind of like a wild card titan. depending on what she has eaten she could use every power in the book. Or just run fast lol.

ARMORED TITAN THEORY Honestly, I feel like the armored titans armor being so weak stems more from the fact that Reinhardt himself has been growing weaker and weaker throughout the story both mentally and emotionally. It would make sense that the more iron clad ones inner resolve and sense of purpose is, could be directly related with how strong the armored titans armor becomes. I say this because ever since we first seen reinhardt showing conflicting feelings and thoughts about his / annie /bertholdts mission, you can see every time he transforms into his armored titan it grows weaker and weaker as reinhardt continues to struggle more and more with his own mental fortitude. When we first see the Armored titan in action is during the wall breaking, this is (in my opinion) when reinhardt was as mentally steadfast as he will be for the rest of the story, but directly after bertholdts death we see him and his titans armored abilities quickly wilt. His will to live, his conviction to see things through, and just his mind in general is and has been breaking down for a very long time now and as they continued to weaken and worsen throughout the story you notice his armor becomes even less reliable. His titan abilities honestly seemed to be at their absolute weakest around the time eren met with him underneath Marley right before the invasion started. Tl; Dr: The armored titans armored ability is only as strong as the hosts mental fortitude and conviction. Reinhardt, for a very long time has gotten worse and worse in this regard, and so has his armored abilities along with it.
No not really. Reiner wasnt in a stable state when he broke the walls, one of his friends died and he also finds out that he wasnt even meant to be one of the warriors. And no your theory is wrong because when he broke the walls nothing threatened him of breaking his armour but during the war in episode 1 the enemy was using anti titan artillery which ables them to break his armour so sadly your theory isnt valid

I have a theory about the Nine Titans that my friend and I came up with a few days ago that I would like to share. Well, it's really two, but they go together; we believe that the Titans the Shifters transform into have their own consciousness and that the Nine Titans represent a part of Ymir Fritz personality. Consciousness- While we don't have evidence to support that all of the Nine Titans have a consciousness, we do have evidence to support it for the Attack and Founding Titans. Kruger and the 145th King have talked about their Titans in a grammatical way that suggests a consciousness. You cannot make a vow with something that no mind it's own. And freedom, the thing that the Attack Titan "moves ever forward" to seek out, is a subjective thing unique to each individual. It is something that a Mindless Pure Titan could never understand. This would explain Eren's behavior as a Titan in eps 8-13 in S1. His desire to kill all the Titans would be something the Attack Titan could understand since Titans were something Eren saw as a hindrance to his freedom. But, being his first transformation, that strong desire most likely clouded the Attack Titan's judgment. Hence why, upon the second transformation, it attacked Mikasa. If the rumors about the Ackerman titan experiments are true; the Attack Titan in that instant would have seen her as a Titan since no real ones were around the boulder. Ymir's Personality- My friend and I believe that each of the Nine Titans represents a part of her personality that was stripped from her throughout the 2 thousand years. Simply put: Founder: Ymir's core Soul and Mind Attack: Ymir's desire to be free Armored: Ymir's Desire to protect her loved ones (like her fellow slaves or even her daughters) Female: Ymir's Desire to fit in, to have a normal life Jaws: Ymir's want to be strong enough to survive anything that she faces (like how the Jaws can rip through anything it faces) Beast: Ymir's Love for Animals (why she set the pig free) Warhammer: Ymir's Desire to make a better life for herself and her other slaves Cart: Ymir's ability to endure, or to help and support others (her 13 years as the Kings "wife") Colossal: Ymir's Rage towards the King that enslaved her This would explain why, someone who has the power of the Founding Titan, which is said to be able to do anything, obeys anybody with Royal Blood. The Ymir Fritz we see in that realm is indeed just a shell of her former self. And it was Eren, who has the Founding Titan within him, who was able to free her from this "trance". She reached out to him because, out of all other Eldians within the past 2 thousand years, none yearned for freedom as much as her than Eren."
Armor titan is wack because it’s main thing it’s supposed to do gets kinda negated at every other use. There are anti tank rounds that can blow through its armor and the ability harden which is just apparently better armor.
I always wanted Reiner to use the crystal Harding over his armor to truly have indestructible armor. I know it may be heavy but it’s a bigger buff and he would actually become a walking tank again. I imagine him with that white crystal armor with maybe some spikes over his joints.
Armored titan became a pushover because his combat skills isn't good like the other shifters. I wonder if someone who's extremely good at hand to hand combat inherit it and could potentially make the armor more of a threat. The beast titan isn't usually used to war but when zeke inherited it, it was a total upgrade for their military because of his deadly aim.
@@armoredtitan8600 the Beast Titan changes animals though, i'm sure there was another useful Beast before Zeke. But the Armored Titan even in good hands would lose to most of the other titans, its armor is just kinda useless, it's only good for fighting non-shifter titans ;P
The Armor does shatter pretty easy but it does reduce heavy damage to the muscle underneath. Eren got his jaw blown off by Annie's Titan with a hardened punch but Reiners face underneath the armor was pretty well intact after taking a hit from Erens hardened punch.
I would imagine the Armored Titan would be much stronger against other shifters if it fought like it didn't have armor to begin with so the armor is treated as more of a handicap. Plus the Armored Titan might be 2nd in terms of pure strength (either that or Beast Titan) so its punches would be pretty strong. This is all just hypothesis so idk if these would work in practice tho.
Oh, so in that one intro, when we see the Beast Titan running with animals with what look like glowing red hearts or something, those are the past Beast Titans

He got out maneuvered by Eren in his first fight despite the former having little understanding of martial arts because Reiner was all about physical strength and almost no technique. Compared to Annie he's insignificant in hand to hand combat which Eren noticed himself. Besides Reiner was like 10 years old when he became the armored titan. I don't think he had enough time to become a pro.

yeah the only thing that would change would be the hair i think, annie's hair was always in a bun so its probably longer than her female titan hair. a male in a female titan form would probably have the hair like annies titan but different color or it might just be how their human hair is
I think the armored titan is also able to transfer the conciousness of the user into the titan, so regardless of how much the user is dismembered the armored will still function (albeit barely) and essentially gurantee the survival of the user.

The reason Eren is able to summon all the past titans is because he also possessed the war hammer titan. Notice how all the Titans he summons have tethers connected to his body the same way the war hammer connects to its user. The past titans are essentially “weapons” that the war hammer titan is able to made and since he has the founding titan memories and abilities he’s able to summon all those as his weapons. Crazy!

The versatile and founding Titans are female and their users shift into female looking Titans (Annie and Frieda, we don't know about Uri because his Founding Titan's body wasn't shown but the face looks feminine too). This is proven by the the fact that Ymir, Willy's sister and Pieck's Titans look masculine/neutral even though they are women, so yeah, I don't think gender affects to the general looks of the titans

ARMORED TITAN THEORY
Honestly, I feel like the armored titans armor being so weak stems more from the fact that Reinhardt himself has been growing weaker and weaker throughout the story both mentally and emotionally. It would make sense that the more iron clad ones inner resolve and sense of purpose is, could be directly related with how strong the armored titans armor becomes. I say this because ever since we first seen reinhardt showing conflicting feelings and thoughts about his / annie /bertholdts mission, you can see every time he transforms into his armored titan it grows weaker and weaker as reinhardt continues to struggle more and more with his own mental fortitude.
When we first see the Armored titan in action is during the wall breaking, this is (in my opinion) when reinhardt was as mentally steadfast as he will be for the rest of the story, but directly after bertholdts death we see him and his titans armored abilities quickly wilt. His will to live, his conviction to see things through, and just his mind in general is and has been breaking down for a very long time now and as they continued to weaken and worsen throughout the story you notice his armor becomes even less reliable. His titan abilities honestly seemed to be at their absolute weakest around the time eren met with him underneath Marley right before the invasion started.
Tl; Dr: The armored titans armored ability is only as strong as the hosts mental fortitude and conviction. Reinhardt, for a very long time has gotten worse and worse in this regard, and so has his armored abilities along with it.
No not really. Reiner wasnt in a stable state when he broke the walls, one of his friends died and he also finds out that he wasnt even meant to be one of the warriors. And no your theory is wrong because when he broke the walls nothing threatened him of breaking his armour but during the war in episode 1 the enemy was using anti titan artillery which ables them to break his armour so sadly your theory isnt valid

I have a theory about the Nine Titans that my friend and I came up with a few days ago that I would like to share. Well, it's really two, but they go together; we believe that the Titans the Shifters transform into have their own consciousness and that the Nine Titans represent a part of Ymir Fritz personality.
Consciousness- While we don't have evidence to support that all of the Nine Titans have a consciousness, we do have evidence to support it for the Attack and Founding Titans. Kruger and the 145th King have talked about their Titans in a grammatical way that suggests a consciousness. You cannot make a vow with something that no mind it's own. And freedom, the thing that the Attack Titan "moves ever forward" to seek out, is a subjective thing unique to each individual. It is something that a Mindless Pure Titan could never understand. This would explain Eren's behavior as a Titan in eps 8-13 in S1. His desire to kill all the Titans would be something the Attack Titan could understand since Titans were something Eren saw as a hindrance to his freedom. But, being his first transformation, that strong desire most likely clouded the Attack Titan's judgment. Hence why, upon the second transformation, it attacked Mikasa. If the rumors about the Ackerman titan experiments are true; the Attack Titan in that instant would have seen her as a Titan since no real ones were around the boulder.
Ymir's Personality- My friend and I believe that each of the Nine Titans represents a part of her personality that was stripped from her throughout the 2 thousand years. Simply put:
Founder: Ymir's core Soul and Mind
Attack: Ymir's desire to be free
Armored: Ymir's Desire to protect her loved ones (like her fellow slaves or even her daughters)
Female: Ymir's Desire to fit in, to have a normal life
Jaws: Ymir's want to be strong enough to survive anything that she faces (like how the Jaws can rip through anything it faces)
Beast: Ymir's Love for Animals (why she set the pig free)
Warhammer: Ymir's Desire to make a better life for herself and her other slaves
Cart: Ymir's ability to endure, or to help and support others (her 13 years as the Kings "wife")
Colossal: Ymir's Rage towards the King that enslaved her
This would explain why, someone who has the power of the Founding Titan, which is said to be able to do anything, obeys anybody with Royal Blood. The Ymir Fritz we see in that realm is indeed just a shell of her former self. And it was Eren, who has the Founding Titan within him, who was able to free her from this "trance". She reached out to him because, out of all other Eldians within the past 2 thousand years, none yearned for freedom as much as her than Eren."

Armor titan is wack because it’s main thing it’s supposed to do gets kinda negated at every other use. There are anti tank rounds that can blow through its armor and the ability harden which is just apparently better armor.
To be honest, it's still a good titan, but the advancements in technology have begun to counter it.
I always wanted Reiner to use the crystal Harding over his armor to truly have indestructible armor. I know it may be heavy but it’s a bigger buff and he would actually become a walking tank again. I imagine him with that white crystal armor with maybe some spikes over his joints.
Armored titan became a pushover because his combat skills isn't good like the other shifters. I wonder if someone who's extremely good at hand to hand combat inherit it and could potentially make the armor more of a threat. The beast titan isn't usually used to war but when zeke inherited it, it was a total upgrade for their military because of his deadly aim.

The Armor does shatter pretty easy but it does reduce heavy damage to the muscle underneath. Eren got his jaw blown off by Annie's Titan with a hardened punch but Reiners face underneath the armor was pretty well intact after taking a hit from Erens hardened punch.
I would imagine the Armored Titan would be much stronger against other shifters if it fought like it didn't have armor to begin with so the armor is treated as more of a handicap. Plus the Armored Titan might be 2nd in terms of pure strength (either that or Beast Titan) so its punches would be pretty strong. This is all just hypothesis so idk if these would work in practice tho.

I think the armored titan is also able to transfer the conciousness of the user into the titan, so regardless of how much the user is dismembered the armored will still function (albeit barely) and essentially gurantee the survival of the user.

Im just really glad that they made a berserk mode for eren on that episode.
The reason Eren is able to summon all the past titans is because he also possessed the war hammer titan. Notice how all the Titans he summons have tethers connected to his body the same way the war hammer connects to its user. The past titans are essentially “weapons” that the war hammer titan is able to made and since he has the founding titan memories and abilities he’s able to summon all those as his weapons. Crazy!

This is proven by the the fact that Ymir, Willy's sister and Pieck's Titans look masculine/neutral even though they are women, so yeah, I don't think gender affects to the general looks of the titans

The War Hammer Titan is the perfect blend of offense and defense. It can create both a sword and shield for example for perfect combat.
It’s odd that we didn’t see more of the war hammer titan since it really is the strongest shifter. It could have replaced the colossal titan in the beginning of the anime, but then we wouldn’t have a story lol. Even then, the war hammer titan could have replaced the jaw titan in the Marley-Turkey war. She would have finished the war instantly.
