  • Here's how you start and finish knotted beading projects without using clamshells or bead tips.
This is a useful technique to more "directly" connect your beads to clasps, chain, and other decorative connections.
    Required materials:
    -Beads (primary)
-2 end beads (must have holes large enough to pass the silk through 2 times) - usually these are metal, however you can use any bead you like!
-Silk cord w/ needle - appropriate to the size of the hole in your beads
    Required Tools:
    Knotting tweezers
    Cord stretchers
Jewelry glue (GS Hypo Cement is the best!)
    Scissors

Thank you so so much for this video. I have arthritis and I have recently become unable to make necklaces and bracelets with wires like I used to. I have been looking for another of making them but them staying strong. This video has made me so happy and confident about starting to make jewellery again. So again, thank you so much. ❤❤❤

Hi, gives just one overhand knot with a little glue enough hold after you cut the wire?

What is the tool you used with the needle to thread it through?

Hello, I have. Few questions: what is the reason to stretch the silk cord first? Second what size silk cord did you used here? Thank you, I appreciate your video 👏🏻😉

The reason for stretching the cord before working with it is so when you finish and after wearing it for a while it doesn't stretch from wearing it so it doesn't become to big.

Also to straighten it out after being wound on a spool or card.
