One of the question that I have given the push to renewable energy and eV in a great manner - what would be the power supply demand in 2030 if the eV follows the trajectory and we truly become a nation with over 50% eVehicles and also ramp our Solar Wind and Rooftop at the rate of 9-10 GW per annum adding 80GW in the next eight years.
Assuming this do we know what would the additional load demand that will come on the grid on account of this eV adoption.
Secondly given the China + 1 strategy promoted today if we our Manufacturing really kicks off then what would be the additional demand on account of that? Also with the population reaching 1.6 bn or more in the next decade, our residential consumption would also jump.
So do we really think that adding only renewable energy sources to the Power Sector with no addition in fossil fired - would that be sufficient to meet the enghanced demand? what happens if we reach a supply demand gap more than 10% in the Peak Demand and what is Power Ministry doing about this??

Which software has been used for simulation

Behaviors - in California if you charge between 9am and 3pm it's cheap, mostly solar and doesn't hurt grid load. Same with 11pm to 5am (mostly fossil). Just avoid the morning and evening peaks. CAISO website click "demand" and "supply" notice the solar peak matches the net demand dip.

The study was not performed using MATLAB but Power System Simulation Software called MiPower® from PRDC.
Study report is publicly available here,
