If my understanding is correct, Only the Violinist guy is the touring "orchestra" member. TSO utilizes Local orchestras to fill the remaining roles, showcasing the local talent.
No that is partially right the guitars drums etc is a metal band called savatage tso is a side project for them there are 2 tsos on tours east of the Mississippi one tours west al s o the keyboard players a lot of the time are the same the lead guitarist east his last name is caffery lead guitarist for savatage
