I used to look forward to friday and Clarke and Dawe. Thank you whoever uploaded these to youtube. oh do I miss them, especially John Clarke. I remember John Clarke and his fred dagg, funny as….
It’s a tough call, but I reckon this is the best Clarke and Dawe ever! 😊🤣 So many fantastic lines, and Clarke’s flawless delivery: “Trust me” “We live in a … one of those” “The past 100 years have been a bit of a dark time for this country” “Have you seen our other legislation? We’re terrified of everything” 🤣🤣🤣
From personal experience with Workplace Ombudsman's Office sorting out several issues I have. The Law or Act is very weak if you do not work under an Award. IR = Award Free. Just try enforcing anything under Award Free. This sketch is spot on, and very very very funny. :) Companies exist to make money WITHIN the guidelines of the Law. If the LAw allows them to make more money doing something which would be considered Bad Form, they will. It's the nature of the beast. End of story.
"It doesn't matter if there's another argument - we control both houses of parliament, any other argument can go and root it's boot!" < Westminster system of Government in a nutshell....
An honourable task you have taken upon there. I wish you luck with it. I still suggest that you go and visit other countries in the world and see how they are solving their problems. It might give you some new ideas to work with.
Must be hard to walk towards the future when all you do is look back at history. Nazis are bad, love and peace are good. Lesson learned, now lets try to get along shall we?
My advise: vote for a different president and stop whining about him. And by the looks of it the US will get a black or a female president next. Good for you :).
"The last hundred years have been a bit of a dark time for Australia." I'm still wiping away the tears of laughter.
Brian: "Why didn't your use real workers?"
John: "We don't know any"
Comedy GOLD!
lol, the US flag behind Clarke.. a brilliant touch by these comedic geniouses
"nnnh..Yeah, one of those"
They're so good at this. Thank you RUclips algorithms, for keeping their geniuses alive.
I love the Queen and the Stars n' Stripes in the background... :-)
'yeah well I mean employers tend to fund our election campaigns'.
Epic win.
I miss this with an aching longing... needed now more than ever.

God bless you John Clarke; you are a shining beacon of honesty in a sea of fuckwits.
It doesn't matter if there is another argument. We control both houses of parliament; any other argument can root its boot!

"Yes well they were actors :D"
lol Peter Costello thought brian works for them when he said "brian brings up a good point" and advised Howard to fire him
Awesome. How come we don't get any Aussie TV here in the states? I mean, we have our own BBC channel now. Why not Australia?
You have Fox Entertainment :(
@@georgehastings2263? Seriously?
That makes an Australian channel essential for sanitys sake.
Why does this remind me of the office
AHAHHAHAHAHA GOLD!

I judge you when you use all caps.
Who do you trust?
Yech!
Alas, even the monstrosity of Work Choices didn't get workers off their arses into unions.
Shining bacon @mattblack77nz
"You commie" is not a valid argument.
Typical Australia, always taking credit for New Zealand talent =P
This is eerily reminiscent of the last 18 months in New Zealand Politics. Just as much fuck-wittery, not even half the opprobrium. Fucking typical.

Australia have a Prime Minister
