- our 1972 Volvo 164E features today, with a ten-minute walkaround and drive of the classic 1970s Swedish car. In this video I give information about this car, why we bought it and why I like it, concluding with a quick drive that was easy thanks to its automatic gearbox. This car was bought as we didn't have a classic or vintage car that would be suitable for going to car shows or events that are quite far away, while still being something old, and its plush and roomy interior lends itself to such journeys. Hopefully this car will appear more frequently on the CarTraction channel as we visit places of interest.if you like this please drop a like and check-out my other classic car videos on the channel homepage. Whether due to my old laptop or my incompetence, this popped up when I fire up the machine. So I have no idea how it fits into the chronology of your reviews/videos. Perhaps an early one? Who cares - it was super! With Twin Cam you brighten my day if I find either as it takes me to the glorious days of semi- and actual classic cars. When you drive, as a former hgv/psv and advanced driver, keep you hands at ten-to-two and not at the bottom of the wheel! Lol! Thoroughly enjoyed the video and look forward to more.

Wow this was a long time ago 😂, thanks for watching!
Nice Volvo 164E 1972 classic lines fog lamps, color
Very nice, I remember them in Europe as a kid.
Great video, well done. That car is fantastic.
Thanks, sadly the same cannot be said for my hair back then!!! :D
You know, I'm quite jealous! That's an awesome car and the 6-cylinder engine is the icing on the cake.
Very nicely done young man. Many thanks for sharing this video 👍
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.🍎 Well done!👍
Beautiful car!
A little known fact: the name VOLVO is Latin for "I roll" which heralds back to the companies origin as a Swedish Bearing manufacturer.
Interesting, thanks for watching!
Good job! 👍
Another excellent video. A beautiful car in great condition too. You mentioned your Dad had SAABS, well, I'm a SAAB man too - had 7 in all, starting with a Bullnose , 3 cylinder 2 stroke 96, then a V4 96, then a 99 Saloon and then a series of 4 x 900s, the last of which I kept for 18 years. Keep up the good work - always interesting :-)
Interesting, glad you like it 👍
I used to work with someone who had a Saab 900, lovely car.
Your electric window imitation needs work, sounds more like an electric ariel!
Well done young fella.
5:13, i would have thought that is the cruise control, like set it to the point you dont want to exceed and it doesnt drive faster than that. else what sense does that make.
