    Did this a month ago and the stock factory sound system sounds much better, no longer like a speaker in a tin can.

    Confirmed works. Make sure to swap the greys too… basically cables to each connector switch
    Sounds soooooo much better

      Correct, both wires. Otherwise Hermes(SOS) will have fault code.

    I did this in my 2022 from Düsseldorf and I found it better, but still too tinny. Disconnected sounds better, to me.

    I think its easier to clip the wires and use Wago type connectors than swap the wires with the connectors.

    just unplug the connectors...trim the side tabs off...reinsert into opposite position they were in......fixed ! ...sounds much better

      After spending five minutes trying to get the wires out, this took 2 seconds and worked perfectly!
