When using purple chips as exp boost, is it better to craft basic purple chips and use them immediately or do you get more exp for crafting 2, ascending one, then using the ascended chip as exp?
So besides drone parts and battle data... Vs now only counts openning chip chests on day 1 and component chests on day 3? What about crafting chips and applying them?

There is an ongoing bug with the drone system. When your truck 🚚 gets plundered, it does not use the chipset you assigned to it. I wish they would fix this.
Hi! If I have a missile gold skill chip... does it give something to other hero types or only to it's specific hero type? Cause before the update it did... but it was clearly mentioned in the description...now it's not...
@@joecamel2576 Hello! No, each chip's effect is only available to those types of heroes (tank chips for tank heroes, aircraft chips for aircraft heroes, etc). Tap the chip and you can see in the description, it says "your missile vehicle heroes" . However, chips do add power (skill chip power) to the entire squad even if the effects do not apply to all heroes.
Never craft epic anything in this game, even gear, but especially drone xp. Use the epic stuff to upgrade the combat boost. Just save up legendary drone xp to craft skill chips. Same with gear. Dismantle epic for ceramic. Never waist on epic on any level.
Combat Boost provides a greater advantage to big spenders because they're going to buy tons of chips anyway, so they'll quickly open the Presets still. People like me who spend a little and save diamonds no longer have the ability to open Presets quickly. this creates a wider gap between people who spend a little vs a lot. the Chip Lab is good addition
@@nickc9070 F2P players can advance quickly too by crafting chips in the Chip Lab with materials from events like VS (chests 3, 6, and 9). But yeah, spenders will always be one step ahead 😆
It's easy actually..the most important is to level up the drone with Battle Data to increase its stats and equip orange skill chips. These are not unnecessary things because each of the 4 sections from the Drone Center will help your drone and your heroes deal more damage in combat.

Just tested, original purple gave 20k exp, ascended gave 40k, so equal exp no matter how it’s done

Yes, if you resist the urge, but most players need/want to increase power as fast as possible, and legendary stuff takes time.
