I have 4c relaxed hair, and I LOVE the biosilk serum. I've never used the shampoo or conditioner, but the serum does exactly what you said. I believe it's a protein treatment as well as it adds strength to the hair and it feel silky, smooth and not greasy or weighed down.
I have had a total opposite experience as you. I have fallen in love with the entire BioSilk line. The shampoo and conditioner have literally transformed my hair. The lather from the shampoo feels so luxurious and nice. It doesn't feel super soapy like typical store bought stuff. It's more of a foam than soap bubble feel. My hair even seems thicker. I love it!
Deja Arielle Thanks! It might work better for me because I have naturally oily hair. Like super oily ... one day without washing and it looks like I dunked my head in French fry grease!
Thank you for the honest feed back on the shampoo I was about to buy it I'll just use the therapy and my coconut milk shampoo and conditioner 💓 and I have heat protecting spray thank you sweety I appreciate this
They are not classified as sulfates ( compounds having a carbon, oxygen sulfur chemical bond) which is why the shampoo can be labeled as sulfate free. Sulfonates (compounds having a carbon sulfur bond) are very strong cleansers which is most definitely the reason why this shampoo was drying for me.
Thanks girly for the explanation ❤❤❤ I've been trying to avoid sulfate, silicone, & drying alcohols in my hair products. But there's way too many chemicals out there that sound so similar to each other smh. The cheapest sulfate free shampoo I've come across is the Brandless Green Tea & Aloe Moisturizing Shampoo.
Yes! Same! I’ve always looked for products that are sulfate and paraben free but I’ve been incorporating silicone free products recently as I didn’t realize how many of my cheaper leave in products contained it and how drying it was.
Before I couple days before I shampoo I spritz my hair with a small amount of water and then I seal with oil. Then on wash day your hair will be less dry.
My hair is not a fan of oil lol. It just sits on top rather than actually moisturizing my strands. A cream with indirect heat (sleeping with a leave in & plastic cap or sitting under the dryer on low) works much better for me.
Not all shampoo does that . I use Paul Mitchell shampoo and it gets rid of dirt and oil and build up so after that it leaves my hair super bare and clean that’s when you use a moisturizing shampoo after word !! And then a moisturizing conditioner to add that back in your hair ! You don’t want to keep just adding moisture and not getting rid of the build up but AYE ! My preferrence might not be yours but ! Trust me all shampoo isn’t bad definitely ❤️
I LOVE the Chi serum. Its an awesome product, however, my daughter scratches her scalp after i apply it. Im going to try the biosilk serum for her and see how it goes.. (skipping biosilks shampoo and conditioner due to your experience) thx for review.
I haven’t tried the Chi serum myself but I’ve heard that Biosilk is lighter in comparison. I’m glad the review was helpful! I hope it works for your daughter 😊
Watching this in 2020 like girl if you only knew.

Yes! The best serum I’ve tried so far.

Girl! That's what I'm saying! I HAD to get it bc of the price the silk therapy is alone! Great deal! Just got the trio today! Never knew about it😀
You being excited for 2019 😩😩😭😭
Biosilk has a heat protectant. Bottle looks the same as the serum
2022 here didn't get much better
How about 2023 and it hasn’t gotten any better…
Thank you for the honest feed back on the shampoo I was about to buy it I'll just use the therapy and my coconut milk shampoo and conditioner 💓 and I have heat protecting spray thank you sweety I appreciate this
Glad it was helpful 😊!
mom used to use this, i want to use this as well as soon as my hair grows out
Doesn't Biosilk shampoo have sulfates? Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate & Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate are the top ingredients in that shampoo.

I’ll definitely be more cautious looking for sulfate free shampoos as a result.

I’m using Carol’s Daughter for my shampoo right now but I’ll look into Brandless when I run out 😊.
Same thing with me, I didn’t see anyone do the trio so I did the trio but didn’t record my review yet. Glad you did one
I’ll have to check it out when you do to see what you thought 😊
Thats a HUGE deal. Those are probably close to 70 bucks on their own
I’m always hunting for a deal so I was super happy to find it at my local Target 😊
Found the trio for $15
@@icameisaws4829 where were u able to find it?

@@DejaArielle Oil is a sealant water is the moisture
I agree on everything you said in this video shampoo and conditioner is a no the serum however is perfect
I got biosilk tro from marshals for 16.00 dollars
The trio at Burlington is $16.99
What kind of bird do you have??
i use only the conditioner and oil. i refrain from using shampoo with my hair because it strips hair of natural oils
not using shampoo can create build up no matter how much conditioner you use.

Thanks for letting me know! I’ll definitely stick to using biosilk
En español porfavor
I got my Biosilk from TJ Maxx for $12.99
Those salon shampoos and conditioners don’t have great ingredients at all. I think the serum would have been the only useful product.
By the way, hi!!
Hi 💕. Yeah, next time I straighten my hair I’m only using the serum. The shampoo was just way too harsh for my hair.
Your hair looks beautiful, and healthy. ♡
Thank you! It used to be pretty damaged but I finally learned to leave it alone 😂.
I need it please, how do I get it
this intro didn't age well lol
Tj max has it for $10
Ok it’s 2024 and it gets worse
Meu grande sonho é ter esse trio más não tenho dinheiro pra comprar 😞
