When you order this exhaust (i got this one fron revzilla, this is the unit DANMOTO Danmoto JISU Slip-On Exhaust Hyosung GT250 / GT250R 2003-2014 Item: P387042 SKU: 1241460 Note: When you take the old unit off, it will normally have a sticking point just before its all the way off, its a tight fit over the catalytic converter, just keep working with it or use a rubber mallet to help!
@@michaelhall5555 with a straight pipe you will most likely get a FI light and the bike will stop running correctly a start stalling. the bike needs some back pressure from the exhaust to run correct
The catalytic converter is welded to the end of the header, it’s small, light and not super restricted. Sometimes they have to be removed to fit a new exhaust. If the exhaust is too free flowing it will trigger the FI warning light and the bike will tend to stall, as the bike will be running too lean.

Tin Roof CycleWorks Unfortunately I did not but someone told me that there was too much airflow so I was dumping more fuel than air I just went back to the stock canister to get everything back to normal now my bike runs a heck of a lot better but also put high-octane treatment in the fuel for better performance I highly recommend to anybody changing their exhaust on a 250ccmotorcycle not to get a replica but to get the real deal

Do you think the catalytic convertet could have been removed turning it? It seems to be an insert.

Revzilla lists this exhaust for the 2015, its is the correct unit for the 2016
