Below the Mason Dixon line was where I officially lost it. Cora, you are without a doubt one of my favorite youtubers. You have an infectious personality that is coupled perfectly with your talent and ingenuity. You are always giving me the best tips and the best advice. I am beyond thankful that you continue to do amazing work because when you grow as an artist I feel that I am growing too just by having the pleasure of learning through you.
i love that you really know what you're talking about. i feel like some makeup gurus just kind of go with what they've been taught, but its clear that you actually study your craft. i think it's great that you have a genuine interest in knowing everything you can about what you do. you're always doing something different, and i learn more from you than from any other guru. you're so inspiring.
The long wearing eyeliner helps, and setting my face with so much powder makes is very matte! When I took this off, 7 hours later, it still looked basically perfect.
you know what i love cora? i love that you can see how happy makeup makes you. every once in a while during a tutorial a certain look just kind of comes over your face and you just look very happy, like you're really enjoying what you're doing. it's really lovely. :)
Oh em gee Cora. You look amazing!! This is the best look you have ever done. At least IMO. Thank you for the work that went in to making it. I know it had to have been a HUGE undertaking!
Big ol' thumbs up! This was soothing, interesting and fun to watch. Thanks for your Halloween tutorials this year and every year and for bringing dramatic makeup to my computer any day of the year.
I am in love with all your Halloween costume tutorials this year! All of them have elements of my favorite eras. The makeup for each has been point on and the clothing is just amazing. Thank you for sharing your stunning work with us!! xx
I absolutely love the authentic makeup of the 1920s, and what you've created in this tutorial is a perfect balance of that mixed with modern day wearable makeup. It's truly gorgeous and you really wear it beautifully! (though my inner stickler wants to point out that even the most risqué flapper would still be wearing opaque, dark stockings under her dress!)
I've been totally loving your Halloween tutorials but this one takes the cake for me. I love and appreciate how much work you put into these tutorials. Much love to you Cora :-)
Every time I pick a favorite of your Halloween looks you make another one and it becomes my favorite! Great job with all of the tutorials! Beautiful, ALL of them!
Not gonna lie, when I first saw you were doing a flapper look I thought, "Great. another one." because it just seems all the Guru's had been doing them. But, I love that you made yours very authentic and explained why you did what you did along the way to keep it authentic. and I love that you worked with your natural brow, versus gluing over it and starting over. Good job Cora! I loved your Halloween videos this year.
Loved all the interesting little facts you shared. Whenever you can, please share more of those makeup facts. Not only is it entertaining but we all learn a bit more then expected. Keep up the good work. Love it!
It's super fun to watch you put make up on and your bubbly personality really makes your channel so entertaining. Good job and thank you for your videos! :)
This is so beautiful on you. You are a truly inspiring RUclipsr. I'm always beyond excited when you post new videos. Your tutorials are so clear and easy to follow, and I love your direct and honest approach. You never overcomplicate a look, and you're a class act. I don't usually post comments this flowery on people's videos, but as someone who's a little older than you, I can't say enough to compliment your style, your personality, and the way you present yourself.
Cora you are the master of make up, and this look proved it. Why are you not in NY or Hollywood doing make up? They are missing out on someone with a ridiculous amount of talent.
Thank you so much for this great authentic make up look! I really do enjoy your videos since they convey the message that make up in itself is an art. You are an ispiring make up artist with great humour and style.
I LOVED this tutorial!!!!!!!!!!! The Great Gatsby is my favorite book of all time. I also enjoyed the movie! Thanks for this video Ms Cora...you look simply GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not to mention he was Romeo! The Story of Gatsby touched me so much as a love story when reading the book, and seeing the 1970's movie, but I never really got how delusional and obsessive Gatsby was until the Baz Luhrmann one. It wasn't just about Daisy the person, it was about the idea of Daisy, of having money, being of that class. That book/story is so incredible!
I am SOOO excited you did this! I'm going to be a flapper for Halloween and I was actually really upset that I couldn't find a tutorial from you when I searched for a 20s look! SO HAPPY
So excited to see this in my sub box! I'm going as a 1920's flapper this year and have been loving experimenting with the make up, such a beautiful look!
This was beautiful Cora- Makeup itself has so much history and you can really see how passionate you are about it... you were so happy creating this! Love it! xo
I would be absolutely stoked if you did a tutorial on that! I know you would pull it off amazingly! I had the pleasure of meeting Gwen on stage at one of her concerts in Minneapolis. She's a superbly nice person and has a very unique style. Keep it up, beautiful! -Ross
Hahaha I totally understand! When I kept seeing that others were doing it I got discouraged. But I love this style and decided to do it anyway, because it's my thing!
Cora is so jolly and happy while doing her tutorials. And even if she doing a 'roaring' look...she looks cute! Thumbs up for this. Excellent skills! ;)
another spectacular halloween tutorial cora, i really love this one. the makeup looks so authentic with the eye shape, lip shape, and super matte skin. its just perfect. the added touch of emerald on the eyes really brings something extra special to the look. and i loved all of your "fun facts" throughout the video, i learned something new today and thats always fun :)
I just love your videos. You are clearly a talented makeup artist across looks/styles. However, I ADORE your vintage look videos. I learn something new about the history of makeup whenever I watch one. Please keep making these!!!

I love Louise Brooks! This is awesome. I want to cut my hair now. I already cut my own bangs like that, but I've been growing the mane out to get some long luxurious locks. But now, darlin' you make me wanna cut my hair! Love it. Love it. Love it!
I am sad that we wont see more of these types of videos til halloween. I love how your costume makeup is still very beautiful and semi wearable or can be tone down a bit for regular use. In general another amazing video
