I was about 6 when this came out. My mom was obsessed with old prison movies and she'd let me stay up late on the weekends to watch old movies that came on TV. Escape from Alcatraz was just released the year before, and I was hooked. My parents bought this album and I remember being obsessed with Riot in Cell Block Number Nine. I remember having to wait for the entire side A to play to get to that last song. It brings back amazing memories of my childhood. John and Dan brought so much joy to many people with their showmanship on this album.
