This is an unheralded classic
Nothing wrong with owning both Commercial Real Estate and Bitcoin. In fact .. taking cash flow and converting to Bitcoin might be the best of both worlds because what is being missed is the Leverage and Cash Flow of Real Estate. With BTC it's about capital appreciation and I get that, but it doesn't provide cash flow .. similar to gold in that way. I understand the value beyond what gold can provide, but good Commercial Real estate (retail, industrial) is not a dinosaur.
You don't need leverage if the asset goes up 50x in 10 years.

Yeah , cars and real estate (prob food and everything else) increased more than 10-15x in prices, but the salaries did not increase the same. From 80s it increased like 4x 😅
Just because a stock/crypto is going up doesn’t mean it’s a good investment. just because a stock is going down doesn’t mean it’s a bad investment. theres more to a stock than just its stock price. An entire company more. focus on the company, not just the stock price or the bitcoin price, I trade and hold profits keep up the great work! and also Alex Gomez has been doing a great job reviewing all chart, trade and techniques on BTC which has enhance the growth of my portfolio to 17 BTC lately..

Right as I see this, BTC is dropping like a rock.
OK all good. BUT the Keynesian (moderate inflation) model induces a built in savings account in your highly utilitarian home. You cannot "shelter" inside a Bitcoin. You also have tremendous leveraging capacity in a relatively stable real estate asset. You borrow 80% of the value of a home (at the banks risk) and only need 20% of that value to buy the asset. SO if your 80% LTV is with a 5% mortgage for example and the home appreciates at 8%/ yr. on average, you are actually making 3% return on your borrowed 80% bank mortgage, AND you can wright-off the interest cost of that 5% loan so a net debt service of less that 5%. Of course you have Prop taxes and maintenance costs, but you also get a roof over you head and a place to raise a family. BTC does not provide that. Also, if you sell the house in 5 years at a 20% appreciation in price, you just doubles your Cash on cash return. 100% return on your 20% down payment, all right under the bank's nose! SO lets make sure we are comparing apples to apples. In Saylor's RE examples he never sites that Real Estate generally appreciates and often at a rate well above debt costs or inflationary rates (usually). I'm just sayin we need a better, more honest comparative analysis when comparing Bitcoin to Real Estate.
When the Chinese retail investor and average Chinese family finds out that Bitcoin can't be confiscated and is a better store of value. Does their real estate market go to zero?

The issue however is that average people can use leverage (bank debt) to buy real estate and get a yield (rent). They can do neither with BTC and so it’s hard to get rich from bitcoin if you have a normal job and minimal money starting now however it’s easy to get rich off real estate because you can borrow from bank and invest a much larger amount then you could off own, and the debt reduces over time with inflation, and you get a renter paying off this debt and in places like Australia you get tax breaks for things like negative gearing and depreciation. I do own some Bitcoin though because I wish the system was different. It’s an unfair system. Proof of stake systems are inherently unfair.
I will take the real estate any day. I preferred physical tangible items for investments not numbers on a piece of paper.

Yeah, it is better to invest into Bitcoin than real estate, but imo, this must happen after you already have a rooftop over your head, otherwise you will be homeless with bitcoins. I do not say this is bad, but risky, especially if you have a family. I am pretty sure that Saylor owns his house.
