Here’s what I’d do in a double battle. I have 1, very frail but fast Pokemon (prob holding choice scarf) use follow me while the other uses trick room. Once the frail one faints, I get a free switch into escarghoul and outspeed everything because of trick room, and demolish them with the soul feeder boost.
The video had such a build up to Jordan's presentation and it was such a huge pay off that it's hard to believe it wasn't staged! I had to pause a few times because I was dying of laughter!

I honestly like Escarghouls evolutionary line. The Pokédex entry behind it wasn't rather bad. It's ability was rather well, its stats and moves could be worked around competitively and the idea that originated behind the creation was rather brilliant. The design details were also brilliant. Would be honestly epic had it become a real Pokémon.

Notes on Yahoo: That weight is actually really low for a humanoid creature of that height. If it had that weight at 7 feet, that would be slightly lean but workable. At 11 feet, it's way too light, especially for a "Gains" pokemon. Also, evolving based on damage taken isn't totally new. Basculin evolves into Basculegion when it's dealt around 300+ backlash damage to itself, and Yamask evolves into Runerigus when it's down at least 49 HP below its max (but isn't knocked out).

This video has convinced me that Jordan is the absolute mastermind of the Underdogs and has known what he’s doing all along. There is no fathomable way someone could create Quickie unaware unless they were the most oblivious motherfucker on the planet.

Peter's Idea: Great myth/folklore reference and strong design, only flaw is over-verbose dex entries. Jackson's Idea: Makes me question if he's played 30 seconds of Pokémon in his life. Zach's Idea: Surprisingly thorough and adept design, definitely not family-friendly as is but it wouldn't take many tweaks to get there. Jordan's Idea: I swear to god it is impossible to tell if he's doing this on purpose, which is part of what makes it so hilarious. Like, this HAS to be intentional, it just HAS to be, but he's just SO good at playing the clueless that I watch it and believe completely that it's completely unintentional.
