My sister watches these shows and I never will understand how these men and women get so emotional , when they barely know each other! How can you ever know someone after only a few weeks, lol?
That's the point of the ridiculousness... What's wrong is ppl like Ben who get seasons rigged and boring as fuck because he already knew Lauren (not well, as I always knew she was a critical bitch). The entire premise is based upon the craziness of it all, and you must be very new to not realise the men used to be guys you'd fall backwards over to date: always very wealthy, even sub royalty, doctors (dr travis was once the bachelor, another season no one can get hold of but I've watched it).. Dr travis was screamed at night one by a female dr contestant over "not recognising my worth cause I don't have children!!)!cause he rejected her! Lol You'd never see that today! Lol !!!
And all the seasons prior to the social Media Shilling bullshit and the Internet syndication were great !! Cause those women had no reputation on the line.. Hell even Victoria from Juan pablos was brilliant (meaning caught off guard and had a mini breakdown / jealously rampage in Ep2) and no one talks about that!!!! I want more women like her, not brain dead fucks who seek to make money after the show like the women on Ben Higgins bullshit season!!!! Which was all pre planned from day one!
Full disclosure: I fucking love this show. I think it's a fantastic social experiment and honestly it's just so fun. Because I'm a nerd I love reading recaps and reviews and my absolute favorite writer is Sharleen Joynt, a former contestant from season 18. I don't remember exactly which episode or which season, but she once wrote that due to the conditions of filming, like not having contact with anyone else, the long pauses between filming where things would get boring, etc. it's very easy to actually go a little crazy. What she says is that while she doesn't believe some of the girls actually fall in love with the bachelor, she wholeheartedly believes they believe it. And that's where all the emotions come from.

Producer magic. Pre-screen the cast in order to include volatile people, isolate them from the outside world, routinely starve them so they get antsy and irritable, ask leading questions so you get shady answers, spread rumor, prey on the paranoid ones, make clever edits...

RachylElizabeth he is a douche but I just love how real he is and does not give a fuck about what others thinks of him. Like that whole thing about how Robby allegedly had a girlfriend before leaving the show was absolutely true and he even hung out with her just to spite him. He even says to this day that Robby was by far the most fake out of all the guys on his season and he doesn't care who doesn't like him for saying that.
He was on Celebrity Big Brother 2017, so you can see him cause more hijinks on there.

Maria Cowle I personally think that Brad Womack made the right decision although I was shocked that he didn't propose to no one. I would have done the same thing if I was in Brad's shoes.
Well this show is not naturally good for finding "the one" for marriage. You dont even know the person at the end cause they are in a honeymoon like vacation shut out from the outside world, then when a couple does leave and start their relationship, reality kicks in.

Honestly, I like that guy's decision. He speaks from his heart and he realized none of the women is fit to be his future wife. Rather be honest than getting married too quickly only later you get divorce later.

I love this show.
To be quite honest I don't get why Ben saying I love you to two women was very shocking for doesn't that happen all of the time on the show? My Mom and I concluded that it just wasn't mentioned at all on camera and that's what made it so shocking. Also, in my opinion, the fact that Juan Pablo turned out to be an asshole should have been number one, but Jason dumping Melissa and going with Molly works too.

Peter Krause is entitled to pride of place on either this list or the list of villains. He was runner-up, which puts him ahead of Wes Hayden, and he twice gave an Oscar-worthy performance of a man in love. When nothing could be further from the truth. RPGFreak901 Chris was smart to leave Ashley I and Kelsey. Ashley I shouldn't have been so angry when Chris tried to let her down gently. I know rejection is a hard thing to accept but I feel like she slightly overreacted. I mean Kelsey took the breakup somewhat better than Ashley, despite the fact that she had cried as well. Anyway Chris did the right thing to gently let down both women, although the fact that the bachelor/bachelorette leave behind the people that they dump kind of worries me. What if they can't find their way back home? Oh well, at least most cases end with the dumped people being safe.

KigreTheViking it depends on the people whether they want a polygamous relationship or not. If it's fine with both of them and everyone is on the same page then it isn't an issue it is a problem however if the partner thought it was just both of them and breaks their heart that's really toxic.
A man absolutely can! But the problem with Ben telling both women that he loved them was that it came across as “confirmation” that he was going to pick them. So you can imagine how much it sucked when he sent JoJo home after he said he loved her...
