    Have a 3/4 to 1" barb for my garden hose connector for maximum water flow. Thanks for video

      Do you just use a heat gun to get that 1" barb into that 3/4 hole ?

      @@damianroman1311 I don't have a heat gun. I use one of those torch lighters for cigarettes 😂 or you can also use hot water

    i drill all my fittings out for more flow where i can. i don't recommend it if you have to move your machine alot. but for stationary on a trailer never had a problem

    • @Cleanpowerwash
      @Cleanpowerwash  7 лет назад

      Jesse Kolb why would you still out the fittings instead of simply buying the right pieces?

      Clean Power Wash i mean like a port and polish deal on the half inch adapters sometimes you cannot find a thin wall adapter. and i like to make everything smoother. biggest hole =more flow!

    What thread type are the general pump inlets? Im seeing replacement parts say 1/2" BSP but that doesnt seem right. Are they 1/2" NPT?
    I just got my first machine and am trying to learn all the different sizes and fitting before I go spend a bunch of money on new parts that dont fit.

    I don’t carry a water supply tank, I tap into water outlets on my clients homes. We get good pressure I guess I can just switch out the fittings going to my pump just the way you set up right to increase the water flow?

    • @Cleanpowerwash
      @Cleanpowerwash  6 лет назад +3

      Fernando Medina ProWindowz soon you will upgrade equipment and using a buffer tank is a huge way to protect your equipment. If you don't want to do that yet it's ok, but it won't be the long term solution

      Clean Power Wash I currently use 3 different pressure washers one 8gpm for my surface cleaning and 2 4gpm for my soft wash services. We don’t do a lot of these services but when we do we have the equipment to get it done
      Unless I get a trailer and have the buffer tanks on standby until needed, but yes I see your point thanks for the feedback.

      Try loosening your fittings/hose clamp. Bleed the line and it should be ok.

    • @Cleanpowerwash
      @Cleanpowerwash  7 лет назад

      MrJoshuaj93 direct drive pumps require different plumbing and a way to eliminate air in the line.

    • @timdorrough1233
      @timdorrough1233 3 года назад

      Direct drive is not suggested for pulling from a tank. Better to swap to belt and eliminate all issues rather than trying to force it to work better.

  • @MendingSilence

    Do you use a discharge and another unloader on your pressure washer machines so when you release your trigger the water is directed out a hose and you don't have to worry about water buildup and your pump there for ruining your pump

    • @Cleanpowerwash
      @Cleanpowerwash  6 лет назад

      Michael Schriner yes we use an unloader. And it bypasses back to the tank. Not sure what you are asking about there being 2 things.

      Yea but it also depends on what you are doing, I have a 4GPM and a 5GPM but picked up several commercial jobs last fall.. we got them done but over the. winter i got the 22hp preditor motor and a Gp12gpm pump I cut my time in half. and now i am even soft washing with the 12GPM and same thing in knocking houses out quick
