Hi Sara, I LOVE this painting. The circle / mandala has many symbols as we know. For one example, a circle is a symbol of perfection in the spiritual realm of alchemy andd sacred geometry. Jung viewed Circles as a center of wholeness and highly benificial to one's own developement. It was poignant when you said " you saw this shape in other art work and it stuck with you and came out in your art" because that is the epitome what an Archetype is. They are pre-conscious psychic dispositions allowing humans to react in a human manner as they form the substrate (canvas) from which the basic themes of human life emerge) like you mentioned. We see things in life and some stay with us and later in some way they emerge out of us onto a painting and we recognize something even if we don't yet know what it is - the archetype has our attention and we can ponder why we like it or don't and why. And then the painting can unfold like a tarot card now taking one on a journey. It can be so much fun and impart back so much knowledge and information. Your painting here can be called an Archrtypal painting It's said that archetypes serve to organize, direct and inform human thought and behavior. It is said the Circle symbol tends to chart the course of one's own indivuidation process". Your painting could be like a tarot card in symbolisn speaking to you. Then if curious people can look up what they see in the composition, colors, drips, layers everything and see how it speaks to them. I love the drips. It is an awesome painting for sure. And we all like and dislike things and that's the beauty of Art. Thank you for sharing this with us since you weren't sure about it. 🤔🤗🎨🎶💃💜 isn't the artists journey always trying new ideas. Rock On!
Lucy, wow! This is incredible. I feel like you just unfolded the whole mystery behind what happened here and how things happened at the very root of the creative being. I never thought of this in an archetype way, but you are exactly right. I have a close friend I want to show this and she can probably help guide me through some of the meaning behind it. Thank you for taking the time to articulate this, it really means a lot to me.😌❤️
@@SaraTaylor that's awesome. I was sensitive to if I should send it, but I knew you had just voiced the archetype and I wanted to share with you the sacredness of that serendipitous moment. They dont happen so often but they do open our eyes and inner ear to hear a soul message if we are aware. That's why this painting is really cool. so cool Sara!
I love where you took this painting Sarah. Your inner creative self helped you to explore in a new and different direction which is why I love this piece so much. I love it.
I hope to do more work like this in the coming year, I’m so glad you liked it! Thanks for all your support over the years Cathy, it means the world.❤️🙏✌️
I LOVE IT, I Love this painting. I LOVE the colours, the circle and the Drips, the drips!!!!! FABULOUS. Different Yess, but still and deeply you, so you my Beautiful and so talented Sara. Thank you so much for sharing and as Lucy said « rock on » Love and Season’s Greetings to you and your family💝❄️🎄🥂
I LOVE this Sara everything about it is just so stimulating for the mind. I love circles even when I was very young I loved to draw them, in the sand, dirt, etc. This is a fun and powerful piece. And I absolutely love expressionism !!! 👌 Namaste🙏 Sara 🥰
Sara, you really let the Muses run wild in this piece, it is why I call you a wild woman. Expressive Art is freedom and courage, always color outside the lines! Love it, love your style, and I hope to meet you in April!
Very powerful. This piece grabs me. Keep heading this direction, Sara. It’s loose and full of energy. Play more in your studio. I look forward to what you’ll make next!
I really love this piece! It is a fun and interesting break from pour painting. Love the composition and your design! These kind of statement pieces look best on a Big canvas...the whole piece is very pleasing to the eye! Brava Sara😊🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄 Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Sarah with this style u NEED to check out Simon Bull's style I have bin watching him and I am starting this week. I really think u will get some good ideas. I think ur style has just begun Lov ur work🤯🤗😁
I love Sara's work and watched every week but when I posted a comment on here saying she should check out Michael "Mix" Lang's abstract art I was attacked for promoting someone else's art and called tacky! My comment has been removed by Sara! I won't be watching this channel again.
I was only being nice I lov Sarah's work but I though she could get her ideas with some of what he has done. I get some new ideas popping in ur mind. This was not a negative think. We learn by way hing someone else and then turn our style and we evolve
Camille, I hope you know I did not remove your comment because of anything you said, honestly it was just getting a little bit negative and that’s not the message your vibe I’m trying to spread into the world on this platform. I don’t think you said anything wrong, and I did check out Michael Max and he is amazing! I was going to touch base with you after I removed it and got sidetracked with the kids being home for the holidays… 🙏✨
Love it Sara! Abstracts are my most favourite art form to play in and I don’t do it nearly enough! Next week is my playtime so can’t wait! This piece has inspired me as you so often so 🥰. Merry Christmas Sara!
HEAVENS, that is so cool. I love it and thanks for sharing your process to create it. I wish I could make it to Seattle, I love the west coast. Danny is still not well and more chemotherapy is planned starting next week. Perhaps next time.
Thanks for the lovely comment, I sure hope things go well for you guys and that would be wonderful to meet you at some point! How’s your painting going?
Love it Sara. Beautiful abstract piece. Something very freeing about it. Great way to use colors that are mixed up and just play. Can’t wait to take your abstract class in Seattle!
I think it’s a lot of fun to use the paints a different ways, just always gives a fresh perspective when you come back feeling more loose. I’m glad you liked it!
😂 paint a bold black circle in the middle of a painting. Don’t make every painting comfortable. Piss some people off, don’t get comfortable with yourself. You’re growing as an artist, don’t stop. Go forward shaking your fist. 200 years from now they’ll still be talking about you ❤
Hi Sarah. I don't know how else to contact you. I bought two glicee prints in November. I have no idea where they are? Or why there is an international shipper involved. Please help.
I’m sorry I’m just seeing this now, please send me an email at info@stmodernart.com, I’m not sure what your name is now to look up your order. That you actually ship from the UK because it’s an international service. They take about three weeks to get to the US. You should have it by now though, please contact me and I will get more information.

I LOVE IT!! It touched me and reminds me of the roads of life. Sometimes things run forward in a line and even running around corners. That even in dark tangled roads there is a lovely splash of color. Beautiful vibrant color, as life it's self splashes on us in our own journey. Sara, well done! I don't comment often enough I simply love this!!
